Working with Zoë was a real joy for me as well and I wholeheartedly recommend her work.

🎨🖌️ She's a brilliant artist and stage manager, so I'm sharing her Instagram here. She's just moved into a new studio in London and will be open for commissions again very soon.

Artist #2: @zoe.navarre
Zoë Navarre is a London-born artist who has recently returned to live and work in her hometown after 15 years in Australia. •

After moving to Australia in 2002, she spent four years studying Fine Art and since her return to the UK has continued her studies in oil painting at Slade and Heatherley’s School of Fine Art. •

Zoë’s influences include the work of Paul Klee, the precision and craftsmanship of Albrecht Dürer and the vibrant colour of Howard Hodgkin and Gillian Ayres. •

Predominantly working in gouache and oils, her bright-coloured abstract paintings are based on branch-shapes of trees, leaf litter and the large scale movements of the land itself, as well as the curves of the human body; they also seek to explore the more ephemeral subjects of the sense of connection felt between humans and the natural world and ultimately the oneness that underpins all existence. •

Hi guys!
This is an image from our first ever batch of postcards, and it still remains to be a popular one. It is also one of the many postcards that are currently on sale at an exhibition in London! 🇬🇧
Everyday Lusaka teamed up with some super supportive artist friends to organise this so if you are in London, do pass by @5thbasegallery and say hi. Check our story for a sneak peak at all the amazing work by the main exhibitors. Show closes tomorrow! 🌟

P. S: We’ll be at the Dutch reform market next Saturday so if you are in town, do come through!
