Are you a part of the ‘art community’? I hear that term and wonder what it really means. For some people, it might mean a community of artists… but just artists is not truly a community. It’s a population… in an ecological sense. A community is a collection of different types all doing their thing side by side. So an ‘art community’ needs artists AND buyers, collectors, gallery owners, patrons, manufacturers, show promoters, museums, teachers, students… all of it. Everyone! Whatever your role in the art community is… wear it proudly! Be an active member. #artlovers #artcollector #artbuyer #artists

Meet the Makers of The Wrens Nest 🤍 We’re so pleased to have @zoebufferyprintmaker wonderful prints in the collective. Inspired by a love of the outdoors and a deep relationship with the natural world, Zoe is a North Devon-based artist and printmaker exploring the connections between memory, place, nostalgia and belonging. With a profound interest in the role we play in shaping our own environments, Zoe uses traditional printmaking tools and techniques to create multi-layered linocut prints. Her subtle colour palettes evoke the reflective, composed themes at the heart of her work. Predominantly working with the reduction printing process, she builds layers of colour through intricate mark-making, informed by her preliminary pen and pencil studies. Her sea creature alphabet prints are truly mesmerising! We love having Zoe apart of The Nest 🤍🪺 ———————— #WrensNest #makersofdevon #smallbusinessnorthdevon #northdevonartist
