Warm water is everywhere right now, and honestly? We’re here for it. ☕

Chinese grandmas have been saying it forever: keep your belly warm, skip the ice, and eat your veggies cooked. Turns out your gut agrees.

Swipe through for:
→ Why iced drinks with meals can leave you bloated
→ How to fibermaxx without the gas
→ What your tongue says about your digestion
→ How acupuncture and herbs support a gut that needs more than a mug of hot water

Try this tonight: swap your iced drink at dinner for something warm, then check your tongue tomorrow morning before you brush. 👅

Normal labs but still bloated? Living with reflux, IBS or SIBO? We’d love to help you figure out what’s going on. Tap the link in bio to book a gut health consult. 🌿

💬 Team iced coffee or team hot water? Tell us below.
📌 Save this for your next mug, and send it to your fibermaxxing friend.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, healing chronic gut conditions like Ulcerative Colitis isn’t about lifetime symptom suppression. It’s about restoring balance to your entire body.

We spent 4 months:
Changing small lifestyle habits like swapping cold drinks for room temperature or warm liquids. Adjusted her food choices by limiting alcohol, avoiding heavy dairy products, eliminating processed foods and focus on high density nutrient variations with cooked veggies and high quality protein. We resorted and adjusted daily intentional movement to spread and move Qi. We also taught her how to read her tongue and focused on:

✔️ Nourishing the Spleen (building digestive capacity)
✔️ Soothing the Liver (calming the gut-brain stress axis)
✔️ Clearing Dampness (stopping chronic inflammation)

...our patient reclaimed her digestive health and transitioned safely off her UC meds under our care!

💡 Struggling with IBS, IBD, or chronic bloating? You don’t have to live with a reactive gut.

👉 Save this post & head to the link in our bio to schedule your initial evaluation!

Debilitating periods are common, but they are NOT normal 🛑

If you’ve ever had to pack a heating pad in your suitcase “just in case,” or spent hours staring at a restaurant menu wondering if a meal will trigger a flare-up, I want you to take a deep breath. I see you. I’ve been there.

In my clinical practice, patients often come to me feeling completely overwhelmed by the “all-or-nothing” health culture. They are trying to eat perfectly, take 15 different supplements, and work out exactly the right way only to end up exhausted because “life is life-ing” and the cycle of one good week, one bad week continues.

The truth? Healing isn’t linear.
I know this firsthand because I live with Endometriosis and PMDD. These conditions don’t happen in a vacuum—they accumulate and transform when we try to push through them without direction. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don’t just look at your symptoms as isolated annoyances; we look at how your system is communicating as a whole.

Irregular cycles, pelvic pain, brain fog, and severe mood swings are often signs of deep-seated Liver Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis. You don’t need a perfect life to heal them; you just need a sustainable roadmap.
That is where I come in.

As a licensed acupuncturist and clinical TCM herbalist, my job is to be your partner. We will sit down, map out your unique situation, identify key areas of imbalance, and break your healing down into manageable, bite-sized action items.

You don’t have to navigate this alone anymore. Let’s get you back to feeling like yourself.

✨ Ready to take the first step? Tap the link in my bio to book a consultation, or send me a DM with the word “BALANCE” and let’s chat about how we can support your cycle this month.

A little information on this piece:
This unique Buddhas is expressing itself through art, music and meditation.
This piece was inspired by the legendary rap group Run D.M.C. The “boombox”, big chain and the giant glasses and confident Buddha all represent self confidence and contentment in one’s own style. He struts with little worry of the opinions of those who criticize him. He is FRESH.
