Sharing the 5-step full-body warmup, I bring to nearly every class, because it feels that good✨ 1. Deep knee bend & arm sweep
Form check: grow tall, ribs over hips
 2. Lateral side bend (think length)
 3. Elbows draw down:
shoulder blades slide down, open through collarbones
 4. Palms shoot up, come onto balls of feet
 5. Roll down (Slower than you think! This is sped up by x3)

Repeat x2 through 🔁
Don’t forget to shake it out before coming down to the mat - maybe a gentle sway for lower back, a little roll of the wrists, nodding the head yes/shaking the head no) Can we also talk about winning Pilates combos; sunlit studio with wooden floors🤌🏼 Courtesy of @zone4hove

The last few months have been a whirlwind. What I thought was a pulled groin turned out to be a stress fracture in my upper femur, confirmed by an MRI. You always think you’re invincible until you’re not. When your whole life revolves around running, it’s hard to digest being told you can’t run or do any impact work until the bone has healed. But sometimes we spend so much time focusing on what we can’t do that we forget what we still can. Cycling became my way of maintaining fitness, clearing my head and finding a new love for training. From savage interval sessions with @powerwatts_brighton to getting lost in the South Downs, supported by @windwaveroad and my gorgeous Italian stallion from @colnagoworld 🚴🏼‍♀️ I never thought I’d need a coach to hold me back rather than push me harder, but @redoncoaching made sure I could maintain my fitness without causing further damage. Jane spent hours on the phone with me, offering support, therapy and invaluable advice that I’ll never take for granted. I’m incredibly grateful to have her in my corner throughout this journey. And to @zone4hove , @oneldnclub and @breathe.hq , thank you for providing the space to train, recover and keep moving forward. Because recovery isn’t just about healing an injury. It’s the foundation of performance, allowing you to come back stronger, more resilient and a more rounded athlete. The goal never changed, but my mindset did. Now I’m back competing. With a new perspective, more purpose and a fire in my belly bigger than ever. Sometimes the setback is what builds the athlete you need to become. 🖤
