POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This September, WOO made its Swiss debut.

For four days we were part of @neueraeume in Zurich — Switzerland’s leading exhibition for furniture and interior design, held within @zurichdesignweeks

We showed our signature pieces — and one that nobody had seen before.

The world premiere of HIDDEN, our new modular sofa. The name is honest: its best detail stays out of sight. One of the legs rotates and opens — storage inside. Everything at hand, nothing in sight.

The full exhibition display now lives at the @vesperworld.ch showroom — Bahnhofstrasse 3, Zollikon, Zurich. Come discover the world of WOO up close.

A year ago, we launched FERUS in Zürich. During Zurich Design Weeks, we found ourselves together again.

OUT OF MATTER brought Mexican design and craftsmanship by Basalto Collective into MAANA STUDIOS, with food by Kollektiv Eulenspiegel, music, drinks and a room full of people.

It was a good reminder of something we believe strongly at FERUS: the most interesting things often happen when different people and disciplines come together. One year in, it felt like FERUS in its most natural form.

Thank you Paulina Reséndiz @pauresendiz_ / Basalto Collective @basalto.collective, Matteo Lettieri @titi_lettieri / MAANA STUDIOS @maanastudios, Flurin Willi @flutschggi & Tim Gebhardt / Kollektiv Eulenspiegel @kollektiv_eulenspiegel, Andrej Krajnc @andrejkrajnc / Yaha-Yahui - Organic Mezcal @yahayahui.organic.mezcal @premium_trade_swiss, Nicolas Rocha Jaje / Premium Trade (Swiss) Sarl @premium_trade_swiss, Nelson Wagner / Amuse Bouche @amusebouche.ch / tableware @vintagette / Tortillas @masamor.ch, and of course, Cécile Moser @cecleopatra, Janine Ammann @janineammann_ , Joy Steiner @joy_steiner & Kim Pham @kiminelle at FERUS.

Looking back at Dislocated Utility: Objects out of Place.

A few moments from the opening and exhibition, which brought together installations and objects in the former washrooms of the historic SBB railway workshops in Zürich. A show shaped by its setting, the works, and the people who gathered around them.

Curated by Natascha Madeiski & Paulina Reséndiz

With thanks to our supporters @vitra, @freitaglab, @vicafe.ch, @deuxfreres.taste, @vivikola and @leauwater_
