Change of perspective: this is the #zdw26 key visual!

Two semi-transparent cubes, stacked and viewed from different angles, create a playful distortion. A visual metaphor for breaking structures and opening up new perspectives. The visual identity is complemented by the new claim “Design is everywhere. We make it visible.”, which succinctly captures the ambition of Zurich Design Weeks.

We can’t wait for the fifth Zurich Design Weeks from September 17–27, 2026.

Do you want a piece of lawn?

At the heart of the Landmark Die Stadt über unseren Köpfen is the unused roof of Baufeld F at Europaallee, which is made visible as a spatial “twin” in the adjacent public space. The roof’s exact dimensions are traced onto the ground, and the space is temporarily transformed as part of Zurich Design Weeks. In this way, the previously hidden potential of urban roof spaces becomes a tangible spatial experience and is brought into the public discourse.

Today, from 10:00 you can take home a piece of lawn at the Lawn Flea Market.

From September 24–27, 2026, the biennial design fair “neue räume 26” takes place in Hall 550 in Zurich-Oerlikon, serving as a meeting place and a platform for trends. Now in its thirteenth edition, “neue räume 26” features inspiring special exhibitions and over 90 national and international exhibitors. Spanning approximately 7000 square meters over four days, the fair offers an exciting program centered on interior design.
