🤯We did something scary after 8 years of homeschooling…we sent our boys to school. ➡️And honestly—it was the BEST decision we ever made. ❌But not for the reason you’d think. In just one semester, we learned: 😜Commutes drained our energy. 😜Homework & activities stole family dinners. 😜Weekends felt rushed instead of restful. ✅Academically & socially? They did well. But the bigger picture? We had zero time together. 🫶🏻Homeschooling gives us freedom. Freedom to linger on a lesson. Freedom for sibling bonds to deepen. Freedom for my senior to start a business at 17. ‼️So one year later—we came back home. This time with certainty and desire, not doubt. 🙏🏻But here’s the truth → the financial strain had always been our biggest roadblock. ‼️So I made it my mission to build a way to earn from home without sacrificing time. 🫶🏻🙏🏻Now I make $1–3k a week WHILE homeschooling. More time. More memories. I saw another mom on social media do this and thought, we have to give it a try. This year, we’re doing a full 50 states study in our homeschool, taking it one state at a time and really diving into the landmarks, history, culture, and what makes each one unique. So we sent 50 letters to all 50 state tourism departments asking for maps, brochures, and anything they’d be willing to share. Honestly… who doesn’t love getting mail? I have no idea what we’re going to get back, but we’re bringing you along for the whole journey, opening every envelope and adding pieces to our U.S.A. I won’t lie: my favorite part of homeschooling is learning all the things I never learned in public school! I had some phenomenal teachers growing up. I loved school. But learning through living books at home has been such an amazing way to teach my children and I’m learning just as much as my kids! When you are teaching to allow children to feast on living ideas versus teaching to retain knowledge for a test or a passing grade, the education looks VASTLY different. That’s not to say that’s what all education is in schools, but it’s become the system as a whole and the way it’s designed. What’s something new you learned while homeschooling your kids?

😂😂🥹🥹 Too funny! But seriously, she loves this baby with all her heart and mothers him so well. 🥰🥰 🩵This baby was a surprise — we were done! But, wow am I SO GLAD and incredibly HAPPY we have him. Have the bonus baby friends! 🩵Another homeschooling win — she gets to spend all day bonding and connecting with her baby brother! She gets her schoolwork done super quick during his naps 😂😂 🩵Being together is how we grow our secure attachment. I’m so glad homeschooling makes time together so easy! #homeschool #parenting #motherhood #parentingtips #homeschoolmom
