I won’t lie: my favorite part of homeschooling is learning all the things I never learned in public school!

I had some phenomenal teachers growing up. I loved school. But learning through living books at home has been such an amazing way to teach my children and I’m learning just as much as my kids!

When you are teaching to allow children to feast on living ideas versus teaching to retain knowledge for a test or a passing grade, the education looks VASTLY different. That’s not to say that’s what all education is in schools, but it’s become the system as a whole and the way it’s designed.
