My most popular recipe, but make it more chocolatey and more peanut buttery! What’s not to love ❤️ These 5 ingredient ‘Reese’s’ chocolate fudge flapjacks take minutes to make and are so easy, INCREDIBLY tasty & no bake! Hit SAVE, keep following @mrshollingsworths and make sure you give them a go! You’ll need 👩🏽‍🍳
For the flapjacks 🔹2 cups oats 🔹1/4 cup cacao powder
🔹4 tbsp maple syrup
🔹1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
🔹1/3 cup peanut butter (or any other nut butter)+ 1/3 cup for the centre For the chocolate fudge 🔹1/2 cup cacao powder (@foodthoughtsuk)
🔹1/2 cup maple syrup (@stlawrencegold)
🔹1/4 cup peanut butter
🔹1/2 cup coconut oil, melted ▫️To make the flapjacks, combine the ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir well. ▫️Spoon into a lined baking tin or mould and press down evenly to make sure the mixture is all compact. Cover with 1/3 of the peanut butter spread evenly then chill while you make the fudge.
▫️For the fudge, again just add the ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir until you have a thick chocolatey mixture. ▫️Pour it on top of the flapjacks and put them back in the fridge for an hour or so to allow them to set. Alternatively if you’re impatient like me you can always put them in the freezer and they will set quicker. Cut them into squares and enjoy! LOW SUGAR PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN BARS High protein, refined sugar free, gluten free and no bake If you want a low sugar snack that tastes like a peanut butter cup, these peanut butter protein bars are such an easy go to. They take about 10 minutes to make and are perfect to keep in the fridge when cravings hit. Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup vanilla or peanut butter protein powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup almond flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips (or 1 cup for a thicker layer)
2 tsp coconut oil Instructions
Combine peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, almond flour, vanilla extract and salt in a bowl until a thick dough forms. Line a loaf pan or an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Press the mixture evenly into the pan. A loaf pan will give thicker bars while an 8x8 dish makes thinner bars. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth. Pour and spread over the base. Refrigerate until set, then slice into bars and store in the fridge or freezer. If you’re looking for low sugar snacks, refined sugar free desserts, or high protein recipes, save this for later. 🥰 Please tell me you are also peanut butter and chocolate obsessed!!
