Nan Madol is a hidden world lost in time. all that is known is through oral tradition, nothing was written down. the legends are believed and maybe it was magic that flew these 5-50 ton stones here because honestly how did they get here? my mind wants to understand & know more but my heart is ok without knowing any answers & just want to meditate here. All I can say is that kayaking through the ocean water canals here feels like an absolute dream. best kayak i have ever had in my life 🙌🏽& honestly this place is one of the most amazing places i have ever been too. The human journey is epic 🙏🏽 imagining moana style boats coming in here, & in awe of these huge rocks, the ceremonies that must have taken place and the kava (sakau) stones are all around, to alter the human mind and get it ready for ceremony. i am literally looking at all things pacific island in a way that is so entirely next level and on par with whoever made the pyramids. Love to you all and signing off in wonder 💭

Hiking Stokes trail in New Hampshire 🥾🍁🍁🍁 saw a natural lake with a beaver dam 🦫 & a blue jay at the top of the trail singing 🙌🏼 also a view of Mt. Monadnock on the drive back. I’m just soaking up my last few days in New Hampshire & then I fly back to Africa soon 🌍

Last Friday in Freetown for awhile, rain, sun, beach moments, football practice for the boys, people carrying items on their heads, vibrant life here amidst the struggle. & everyone seems happy to have us here which given the history of Freetown just amazes me. smart, kind, boss energy is how i would describe the people I’ve met here. The people here that the world could learn a lot from 🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🌍 by @taialofa
