Okay... here's your first little sneak peek. 🥹

Making music with my sister made this feel even more special! I really hope you love Saqani El Gharam as much as we do.

For the past 6 years, every birthday wish I made was the same: a better, safer, fair Lebanon.

I’ve never really shared how I feel about all of this. I don’t know why, but this year it feels different. Maybe because the love we have for this country is starting to feel heavier than ever.

I tried to leave. I tried to imagine a life somewhere else, somewhere easier. But somehow, I always wanted to come back.

Why would anyone want to live in a country that feels like hell sometimes?

Maybe it’s because we love our land in a way that’s impossible to explain. A feeling that lives somewhere deep inside us. But lately, that feeling has been turning into something painful, like no matter how hard you try to move forward, something keeps dragging you back.

Sometimes I think about my twenties and how much of them were spent in chaos. But the truth is, growing up here forces you to become stronger in ways people elsewhere might never understand.

So today, I’m still wishing for the same thing.

A better and safer Lebanon for all of us.
May God protect our South, and may everyone be able to return to their homes as soon as possible.

Because honestly…
is it really too much to wish to go back to your own home? by @talaadaher
