Another incredible Georgetown University EMBA weekend. Received our official placards and had the blessed opportunity to teach Gospel Yoga Flow™️ to our cohort. It was a first and I pray it wasn’t the last.

I pray this post encourages someone to keep chasing your dreams. We are here for a purpose. May your journey lead you to places you have dreamed, then blow your mind when what unfolds is greater than what you imagined. Huge shout out to my cohort brother and fellow yogi Ken White for pushing me to do this. You’re a Godsend friend.

I know that I’ve been quiet and not posting for a while. Well, I’ve been working on a few things starting with me.

So, I did a thing … I am officially part of the @georgetownuniversity’s McDonough School of Business Executive MBA Class of 2028! Your girl will be busy for a while, but I promise to come outside every now and again.

Rest and peace, like kindness, are both needed and nonnegotiable. I knew that going into the next phase of life’s journey (my birthday) that I wanted an experience that spoke to my soul and body as a pathway to clarity and peace.

I am so grateful for @sacredtea444, The Sacred Technician for curating that experience for me. We met 6 months ago in Puerto Viejo and I knew that this had to be part of my next chapter. So, God and the universe aligned to make it happen.

After a Shamanic MaiThai Experience, I left relieved, restored, rejuvenated, rested, clear, whole. I was not as rigid in my physical, mental and emotional space. There’s room to hear clearly and to breathe in my body and my spirit. And in the midst, I gained and reconnected with my sister and friend.

Listen, counting layovers, I took 3 flights and a transport car just to be here and … it was worth it. God met me. Sacred Tea met me and the rest is in my court to walk in this peace, freedom, and clarity going forward.

When your inner voice is calling, listen. Sometimes, it’s the subtle nudge to remind you to return to what matters and what matters is You. So, explore what’s out there and not just what life brings. A friend recently said, grief and joy can exist at the same time and in the same space. I agree, and so can your peace and purpose, life and tears. Pursue life and its vastness because what’s out there is calling and waiting for You. I answered and welcome what I’ll find waiting 💚

What a lovely surprise on my recent flight to DC! I met the most beautiful soul and found that she is the author of a book I've been eager to read, and she allowed me to purchase her first copy.

@goalandgrind, your enthusiasm and energy are contagious, and I'm glad our paths met. May your book inspire readers to find joy within themselves and to share it with others. I pray that your book opens doors for you to share this light with the world to “Stay Joyful.” ✨
