Sonny, my sweet Papa went to heaven today, praise Jesus for His never ending mercies. The past few weeks during lent I ditched social media and here’s what happened: baked a lot of banana bread, hiked a total of 45 miles, spent a lot of time with the God of the universe, became more present, stopped letting my weight and poor self image get in the way, spent quality time with family, found a church I love and a community of new friends that are breathing life back into these dry bones. Celebrated my sisters legacy, dove into two more Bible studies, met more amazing Godly women - was given the privilege to introduce my Savior to someone new. More family time, more sunsets, more laughing - just more. There are plenty more moments but the point is I’m grateful and realized I probably won’t be on social media much anymore. ♥️ taken in Brevard, North Carolina by @tall.tiny.hearts
