Two days until Election Day, and my #SoulsToThePolls tour filled my spirit for the work ahead! 🙌🏾🗳️

Today, I crisscrossed South Carolina to engage with voters ahead of November 3. I started in Edgefield at Old Macedonia Baptist Church, where Pastor Leonard Griffin serves as pastor. Then it was back to Columbia for a meeting before heading to Summerton’s Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church for the Lift Every Voice and Vote Gospel Concert featuring Jeffrey Lampkin, John Lakin and Grammy Award-winning artist Le’Andria Johnson.

I closed the day with my sorors at a Delta Sigma Theta Virtual Prayer Rally. ❤️🐘

Election season can be exhausting, and today I needed that praise and prayer. Every song, every prayer and every connection reminded me why we keep going. My spirit is renewed, and I’m grateful for the strength to push through Election Day.

We are PRAYED UP and ready for these next two days! Let’s keep encouraging our neighbors, reaching out to our circles and making sure everyone has a plan to VOTE! 🙏🏾🗳️

The Road to the Polls: October 2026 🗳️ Part 2

If there is one thing I have believed throughout my entire career in public service, it is that democracy works best when PEOPLE participate.

So this October, I made it my mission to meet people wherever they were.

I’ve spoken at town halls, rallies, candidate forums, community events, schools, fundraisers, expos, and restaurants. I’ve talked about the importance of voting in churches and even nightclubs. I’ve knocked on doors, made calls, taken people to the polls and worked alongside some incredible people to organize and energize voters of every age and from every walk of life.

From first-time voters to seasoned voters, young people to seniors, Democrats, Republicans and Independents, my message has remained the same: YOUR VOICE MATTERS.

And South Carolina, look at what we’ve already done!

We have officially broken the record for early voting in the midterm election. That tells me people are paying attention. People are engaged. And people understand just how powerful their vote can be.

But we are NOT finished.

If you have not voted: Tuesday, November 3 is your day!

Find your polling place. Make your plan. Bring your ID. Check on your family members, friends, coworkers and neighbors. Offer someone a ride. Send the group text. Make the phone call. And when you head to the polls, bring somebody with you.

I’ve spent October traveling the road to the polls with so many of you. On Tuesday, it’s time for us to cross the finish line together.

South Carolina, we’ve already made history. Now let’s make some more.

I’ll see you at the polls!

Early Voting has ended with over 1 million South Carolinians casting their ballot early but our work is far from over.

As my Soror @jasmineforus reminded us at the Ready, Set, Vote rally, we must put in the work to get others to the polls. Don’t assume anyone in your circle is voting.

Get on your phone and call, text in the group chat, DM your ex….. whatever you need to do. This election is too important to sit out. Because the South has something to say.

Election Day is Nov 3. Polls Open 7 - 7.

My heart is heavy at the passing of Dr. Henrie Monteith Treadwell. She was an inspiration to me and so many others. Her courage helped open the doors of the University of South Carolina, creating opportunities for generations to follow.

My prayers are with her family and all who loved her. May we honor her extraordinary legacy by continuing the work of advancing opportunity and equality. Rest well, Dr. Treadwell. 🕊️ by @tameikaisaacdevine

Columbia showed up READY to VOTE! 🗳️🔥

So grateful to my friend and soror Congresswoman @jasmineforus for bringing the energy, and to Representative @rephrgrant #and everyone who helped make our Ready, Set, VOTE Rally happen in less than 24 hours!

Special shoutout to @ilikewhatilike8 for pulling it all together.

Let’s turn that energy into ACTION. Vote, bring a friend, and encourage your circle to do the same. Our voices matter! ❤️

I proudly endorse Brian Myers for Richland One School Board At-Large! As a Richland One parent and State Senator, I want leaders who show up and do the work for our children. Brian’s years of service as a volunteer and proud Richland One graduate have earned my trust and support.

Join me in voting for Brian Myers! 🗳️ by @tameikaisaacdevine

Proud to stand with my Sister Senator, Senator Katrina Shealy and my colleague @rephrgrant as we stand in support of @AnnieAndrewsMD for US Senate.

We need to put people or partisanship and prioritize South Carolinians over Washington.

We can do this!!!! by @tameikaisaacdevine

There’s a unique kind of love that comes with being married to a fellow public servant. You learned early that your time is never completely your own, that date night sometimes compete with community meetings, and that the person you love belongs in some ways to the people that they have chosen to serve. For 18 years, I’ve watched Jamie give so much of himself to the students, families and educators of Richland One and I’ve been blessed to have a front row seat to his journey.

Many meetings, phone calls, community events, difficult decisions, late nights, and moments in public service sometimes had to come before personal plans. And tJamie has had to share me with the public too. This is been our life as a duo: two people who love each other, love our family and also feel deeply called to serve our community.

As Jamie prepares to close an incredible chapter after 18 years of service of Richland One Board of School Commissioners, I could not be prouder of him. He was first elected in 2008 and has spent nearly two decades helping make decisions that impact generations of students and families.

And now his service is taking him to a new table.

His focus will expand from representing the interests of students and families in Richland One to serving the broader needs of children, adults, families and communities on Richland County Council. It is a new chapter, but the heart behind the work remains the same: SERVICE.

When both people in a marriage are public servants, you understand the sacrifices in a way few others can. You celebrate the victories together. You carry each other through the hard days. You understand when dinner gets interrupted by a constituent call or the calendar fills up with meetings. And through it all, you remind each other why you chose to serve in the first place.

Jamie, my love, Congratulations on 18 years of service to Richland One. I am proud of the work you have done, the lives you have touched and the commitment you have shown. And as one chapter closes and another begins, I’m looking forward to continuing this journey of public service right alongside of you. by @tameikaisaacdevine
