POSTS STORIES REELS

Often challenging life paths forge characters, and give virtues that can be valued in demanding professional contexts, offering unique approaches to problems and new solutions.

It takes a lot of courage, resilience, passion, and determination to become a leader.

Personal journeys lead to different visions, far from the normative ways of thinking.

What you have learned through your personal journey and education can be the catalyst for brilliant ideas.

Embrace your journey.

Always remember that life’s battles are not won by the strongest, nor by the fastest... but by those who never give up!!

Carpe diem!

Behind every female founder is a story of courage. And beside her? Women who truly get it. 🥂❤️

To the three of us — friends, founders, and women who know what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

We’ve each chosen to build something of our own. And with that comes the excitement, the uncertainty, the tough decisions, the sleepless nights, and the responsibility of making it all work.

What I love about our friendship is that we understand this part of each other’s lives without needing to explain much. We exchange ideas, challenge each other’s thinking, share what we’ve learned, and celebrate the wins because we know exactly what went into them.

Different businesses, different journeys, but so much shared understanding. And never too busy to be there for one another.

I’m proud of what we’re building individually, but even more grateful that we get to witness each other’s journeys up close.

And then there are nights like this — when the laptops are closed, the champagne is flowing, and we remember to enjoy everything we’re working so hard for.

To our friendship, our independence, our courage to create, and all the chapters still to come. 🥂❤️

Carpe diem. La dolce vita. ✨

A beautiful scent isn’t always kind to sensitive eyes.

Added fragrance can irritate the delicate eye area.

That’s why our Radiance Serum - and every Èyes Are The Story formula - is intentionally fragrance-free.

Notice a subtle scent? That’s the character of the ingredients themselves.

Nothing is added to perfume the formula or mask its natural scent.

Radiance, without the fragrance.

Because beauty should delight your eyes, not your nose.

Fantastically productive weekend @silmoparis ! And one of its most meaningful moments happened before the show floor came to life. ✨

On Saturday morning in Paris, during one of the optical industry’s swankiest tradeshows, I joined START STRONG, powered by @opticalwomen (aka OWA). OWA’s networking event gave us a chance to pause, think about our goals and wellbeing, and connect with women from across the global optical community.

I was honored to share @eyesarethestory samples with the incredible women in attendance. It was especially lovely to meet Nancy Gries, founder of @coti_vision , and to exchange ideas with people who care deeply about where the eye industry is going.

Thank you to OWA and SILMO for bringing us together.

I left feeling focused, energized, and reminded how much can begin with a meaningful conversation. 👁️💛

Back to school. Back to conversations about bullying.

We teach children to recognize it in the schoolyard. But bullying doesn’t end when people grow up. It follows us into boardrooms, contracts, and business relationships.

As a female founder, I have seen how some men in positions of power respond when they are challenged - especially when they are in the wrong. Rather than acknowledge a mistake, they try to intimidate the woman who points it out. They count on their authority, their connections, and her exhaustion to keep her quiet.

I am fed up with being bullied.

Standing up for my work, my company, and what is right does not make me “difficult.” Asking someone to be accountable is not an invitation to be threatened or diminished.

To every female founder who has been made to feel small for refusing to stay silent: I see you. Keep your voice. Keep your ground.

Bullying has no place in the schoolyard. It has no place in business, either.

I am incredibly proud to share that @eyesarethestory has been named a finalist in the 2026 Beauty & Longevity CHOICE Awards, in the Barrier Dynamics & Environmental Defence category.

For ÈYES, this is more than an award nomination.
It is recognition of an idea we have championed from the beginning:

Longevity must include eye wellness.

We speak constantly about living longer, looking younger, and remaining healthier. But what does longevity truly mean if the health of our eyes, and ultimately our vision, is compromised?

Our eyes are under unprecedented pressure from screens, environmental exposure, oxidative stress, hormonal changes, and products applied daily within millimeters of the ocular surface.

The next era of beauty cannot be defined by “clean,” “natural,” or anti-aging claims alone.

It must be defined by prevention.

By science.
By transparency.
By products created with respect for the delicate eye environment and the health of the people who use them.

That is why I created Èyes Are The Story - and why we continue to define the emerging category of optocosmetics: beauty and eye wellness considered together, never as an afterthought.

Protecting the eye area is not only about comfort today. It is about preserving the independence, confidence, connection, and quality of life that healthy vision makes possible tomorrow.

Beauty may change with age.
The value of your vision only grows.

Thanks to @innocos and the Beauty & Longevity CHOICE Awards for recognizing our prevention-first philosophy, and to everyone helping us change the way the beauty industry sees the eyes.

Because beauty should never cost your vision.

There is something about a woman on a swing that has always invited people to underestimate her.

Like Fragonard’s The Swing - a great masterpieces of the 18th century: exuberant, sensual, playful and unapologetically frivolous. The woman flies through an enchanted garden, her dress billowing as she tosses off her shoe toward an admirer hidden in the bushes…Nearly 300 years later, swinging from a tree in the Champagne countryside, I couldn’t resist the parallel.

Beauty can still be dismissed as frivolous.

And perhaps creating @eyesarethestory in an already oversaturated cosmetics market might look frivolous, too.

But there is nothing frivolous about eye health. There is nothing superficial about questioning what we put around one of the most delicate and important organs of the human body. And there is certainly nothing frivolous about building a new category where beauty, science and ocular health finally belong in the same conversation.

Being an entrepreneur has taught me that appearances can be wonderfully deceptive.

I may be wearing the white dress.
I may be swinging through the trees.
I may even be enjoying every second of it.

But I’m not a plaything, and I’m certainly not tossing my shoe to just any Baron. 😉

Everything I do is strategic. Every collaboration, every formulation, every piece of research, every conversation and every new product is part of a much bigger story.

And yet, ambition doesn’t mean we should stop embracing the beauty around us. Quite the opposite. Building something meaningful should leave room for curiosity, pleasure, art, laughter - and occasionally swinging from a tree overlooking the vineyards of Champagne.

So here’s to swinging into a new season at ÈYES - with new products, more education, more science and an even bigger ambition to change the way we think about cosmetics and our eyes.

Because sometimes what looks frivolous from the outside is actually very serious business.

And this woman on the swing knows exactly where she is going. ✨

The mind behind your ÈYES.

Dr. Sullivan’s research helped lay the scientific foundations that guide modern ocular surface care.

Despite his extraordinary impact, over 260 peer-reviewed publications, numerous patIents, decades of NIH-funded research, and mentorship of generations of scientists, Dr. Sullivan has never sought the spotlight.

His influence is measured not in accolades, but in outcomes: improved diagnostics, better treatments, and millions of patients living with healthier vision.

For Eyes Are The Story, Dr. Sullivan’s work represents more than inspiration, it is the scientific backbone that inspired our mission.

His unwavering commitment to evidence, integrity, and global collaboration is deeply woven into our approach to eye-safe beauty and ocular wellness.

His influence is undeniable. His work has elevated the science of dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction to a global stage, empowering better care for millions.

As his daughter, collaborator, and lifelong student, I am endlessly inspired by his humility, intellect, and tireless pursuit of excellence. His legacy is one of quiet leadership, scientific rigor, and purpose-driven impact. And for that, I am so incredibly proud.

This is what it looks like to change the world, one discovery, one patient, one generation at a time.
