This wedding felt like stepping inside a painting.

Not because it was at an art museum.
But because every part of the day moved with intention.

The invitations referenced Monet before guests ever arrived.
The florals felt pulled from brushstrokes.
A reception that felt cinematic instead of performative.
Even the espresso bar became part of the story.

And somehow, in the middle of all the design, the wedding still felt deeply human.

A bride quietly soaking in the last few moments before walking down the aisle.
A father trying not to cry during first look.
A groom smiling before he could even fully see her.
Late night burgers.
A packed dance floor under the museum columns.
The kind of energy you can’t fake and definitely can’t overly curate.

Because the best weddings aren’t just beautiful…

They have rhythm.
Breathing room.
Emotion inside the aesthetic.
A point of view without losing the people at the center of it.

This one felt timeless from the very beginning.

A hilltop ceremony at the family estate, above their private lake, with rolling farmland stretching out behind the vows.

I didn’t want to compete with a view like this. I wanted to frame it. So the florals became the architecture, with installations lining every chair and drawing your eye straight out to the water and the fields beyond.

On land that has meant so much to their family, the most beautiful design decision was letting it lead.

The tux, the bow tie, the way he settles into a room.

There’s a whole story on the groom’s side of the wedding morning, too. His anticipation. His sense of style. Those few minutes with a drink in hand before everything begins.

I like giving that story room. Taking the time to photograph him on his own, with the same attention and intention we give the bride.

Because the groom deserves photographs that feel like him. And a moment that’s entirely his.

I think we’re all tired of the fake, so I want to be real with you.

Integrity and trust are so important to me, and when I get messages about how glamorous my life looks, I want to share a little of what you don’t see.

People tell me I should be proud of what I’ve built. And I am. But honestly, I spend a lot more time worrying about keeping it all going than appreciating how far I’ve come.

Running two businesses has given me so much to be grateful for. It’s also taught me that loving what you do doesn’t automatically mean you’ve built a life that feels good every single day.

There’s always an email to answer, a bill to pay, something to fix. I’ll pull off something I worked really hard on and barely let it sink in before I’m thinking about what I could’ve done better or what I’ll do next.

I want to create beautiful things. Serve people well. Make money. And have enough of myself left at the end of the day to enjoy life.

So yes, there are more ideas coming. Obviously.

But I’m also working on making the everyday part feel better. And giving myself a little credit for what’s already here.

Working in the event industry isn’t easy. It’s long hours, high-level stress, constant problem-solving and showing up for other people, even when you’re exhausted behind the scenes.

I know I’m particular! It’s simply because I care deeply about every detail. I think through each decision from multiple perspectives: as a designer, as a guest experiencing it and as a photographer considering how it will be documented.

I don’t want to simply host a beautiful party. I want to create an experience filled with intention and storytelling, with the very best creative partners beside me.

SPOTTED began with a polka dot pattern I couldn’t stop thinking about. Watching that one idea become an entire concept, design and experience made every stressful moment and every tear feel worth it.

To every person who showed up for this dream: thank you. I could never create something like this alone, and I don’t take your trust, talent or support lightly.
