Embrace Change, Embrace Growth 🌟

We’ve got some THRILLING news to share with you all today. You know, they say that life begins at the end of your comfort zone. 🌱

After a lot of reflection and soul-searching, We’ve decided to take a big step and embark on a new adventure in our real estate journey. 🏡

We are now officially part of the incredible CØMPASS real estate family right here in Tampa! 🗺️

If we’re being completely honest, this has been a hard decision and a little terrifying. Change can often feel like a daunting and scary venture into the unknown.

But it’s in those moments of discomfort and fear that lead to our most profound personal and professional transformations. Embracing change, even when it scares us, allows us to break free from our comfort zones and discover uncharted territories filled with untapped potential. ✨

What does this mean for you, our valued clients and friends? It means a renewed dedication to providing you with top-notch service and guidance every step of the way and new innovation and resources to be able to do so! As well as a national network of professionals all over the country.

So, as we embrace this change and step into the unknown, we want you to know that we are more excited than ever to continue this journey with all of you. Your trust and support mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to see where this new chapter takes us. 🙏🥰

I don’t measure a good year as a Realtor in Tampa by closings.

Don’t get me wrong, closing day is always worth celebrating! But the moments that stick with me most are usually the quieter ones...

Things like the text from a client enjoying the backyard of their dreams.

Or the family who thought they were asking for too much and then we found a way to make it happen.

It’s reading a review and realizing they’re not really talking about the house at all. They’re talking about feeling heard, protected, prepared, and genuinely cared for through a season that could have easily felt overwhelming.

That’s what I think about when I look back on the year, not just the number of homes sold, but the people I got to walk with through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

Unpopular opinion: you do NOT need to hire your friend to sell your house. 👀

And as a Realtor who has plenty of friends… I mean that. 😂

I’ve seen way too many friendships get strained some even ruined because someone chose to work with a different agent and the friend/cousin/neighbor took it personally.

Listen: I LOVE working with my friends. Truly. But I love my friendships more.

So if you’re my friend and one day you tell me, “Hey, Autumn we’re moving to DC and listing our house with Jodi!” … I promise I’m not going to be offended. 😂

I’m going to say, “Amazing! Send me the listing when it’s live!” And then I’m going to share the heck out of it, tell everyone I know, and root for you to have the most successful sale possible.

Being your friend should never come with an obligation to hire me.

And honestly? Some of my biggest supporters have never even bought or sold a house with me. But they tag me in FB posts, like my content, send my name to their friends. And those referrals mean EVERYTHING to me. 💗💗💗

So here’s your permission slip 📝

You are allowed to choose the agent who is the best fit for YOU.

And if that’s me? I’ll be honored. 🥹

If it’s not? I’ll still be in your corner. Always ❤️

How to spot a realtor worth referring in Tampa 🤩

It’s not just someone who knows the market or has hundreds of closings under their belt.

It's the agent who knows how to protect the people you send their way.

The agent worth referring is the one who can tell when a repair is worth pushing for, when an offer needs a closer look, when the house has red flags your friend might miss, or when the best advice is, “I know you love it, but I do not think this is the one.”

You are trusting someone with your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, or your family member, and I never forget that there is a real relationship behind every name sent my way.
