Congratulations to Dr. Paul Scholes on successfully defending his dissertation and earning his PhD from Texas A&M University!

His research developed a novel approach to measuring internal migration in the United States using administrative data, producing estimates that closely align with Census and ACS data while covering nearly the entire U.S. population. His work also introduced innovative social network analysis methods to migration research.

Dr. Scholes completed his studies with support from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program and the TAMU GREAT Program. He now continues his work at the U.S. Census Bureau as a Data Scientist.

We are proud of your accomplishments and excited to see the impact of your future work. by @tamusoci
