The first fully covered heel shoe in Tangible Care history!

The leather upper is dyed in a lemon-hued grey, embroidered with musky red beads, with hints of sandy tones and black accents.

There have been all sorts of ideas running through my head recently, and Tangible Care is about to take a big leap in the coming months. Looking back at how my grandmother’s collection of beaded slippers brought me all the way here feels especially grounding.

Making a new pair for yours truly means it’s time to go wild!!! 🤍

Finally gained the confidence to hand-stitch a Rapid Blake construction *gasp*.

The streamlined upper flowing into a low heel counter, paired with a sloped stacked heel — a killer silhouette that I’m really happy with. And of course, a touch of beadwork makes the pair feel real special🙌🏼

It’s been such a journey making this pair. But I dare say the most elegant piece I’ve ever made! The learning curve was tough, from lasting patch-worked uppers to edge ironing heel stacks, there was always a new skill to learn and practice.

A snakehead fish tie-pin to accompany someone’s dress suit for a very special day. Although we usually make bags and shoes, tangible care is also open to make these custom accessories. We are always excited to weave precious sentiments into our creations, so that these memories can outlive a lifetime and perhaps be passed onto the next generation even in its humble form as a simple object💓 big dreams!

Handed this over recently ー another pair of hand made leather mules accompanied by custom designed bead embroidery. Knowing that this pair of shoes will play a part in someone’s dream wedding feels so surreal and so encouraging as a budding lil label! 💓

Ayeee, there’s been a new level-up brewing in Tangible Care and it’s these mules! Viola! 💜

Unlike our original shoe pattern, these have been shaped with a wide toe shoe last, attributing to its casual, playful and lovely structure. Finished off with a stacked heel and vibram rubber soles, this new style offers our shoes more lift, a refined arch and more grip as you walk. It also doesn’t forget our signature mark: sparkle beads on vegetable tanned leather 🔥💕As always this has all been a hand-made operation, each step of the way requiring a new learning curve and an upgrade in skill sets, and I’m so glad that Tangible Care has reached a new milestone!!! Anyone interested in these babes, slide into the DMs!

The cicadas are chirping in summer heat and I will be taking this pair out on more rides✌🏻
