GOLDENER, a studio project with Scott Evans released an EP Aug. 28 on all streamers. Scott @gse wrote a magnificent description of the meticulous years-long process of creating this beautiful closed-loop project.

For 1000s of reasons, it would be very hard to reproduce this literal music live, though there was a period where I think we both enjoyed thinking about how that would be done.

This music is studio engineering couture. This is hours of hand stitching with the greatest skill. Scott’s cavernous wealth of knowledge, lightning agility of engineering, huge ears, and deep composition vision made it feel like any kind of music was possible. Scott could record stacks of vocals as fast as I could sing them, live editing all the while, while talking, while producing, while organizing.

I felt invited. Scott would sort of just hand me synthesizers; it was like meeting famous people. I lost my head this first time I tried the vocoder, I think I cried a little 😂

It was huge, intimidating sometimes, to have this most generous opportunity to play freely in the studio- the opportunity of a lifetime, for real.

Thank you Scott. Really feels like both of us and neither of us made this weird thing and that makes me so happy .

Thank you also to brilliants Beau @beaunoise and Amar @ummm_r for making it sound *so* good. by @tantine_mere

Steve Von Till (Neurosis) and Six Organs of Admittance are gracing the stage at @theestorkcluboakland this Friday 8/21/26 joined by special guest Evelyn Davis @tantine_mere

@stevevontill is an American musician, songwriter, educator, and poet. He is best known as a singer and guitarist in the highly influential and genre defying collective @neurosis which has been credited with changing the face of heavy music over the last 40 years. Since 1999 Von Till has composed and recorded six solo albums of his unique combination of gothic Americana, rural psychedelia and neoclassical ambient folk. Under the guise of his alter ego, Harvestman, Von Till has recorded six albums and the film score for the Italian thriller, H2Odio.

With Time is Glass, @6organs is captured once again in the intricate tangle of the fretboards, soaring in open skies above. Like lens flare cutting through the speakers; spider-webs cracking the windshield that holds back all the on rushing reality. Blowing the dust away, cutting a new path for cognition. As is always endeavored....

Evelyn Davis @tantine_mere Detroit native and general wanderer Evelyn Davis is an inside/prepared/new music pianist, improvisor, pipe organist, composer, vocalist, synthesist, teacher, songstress, and maker of /participator in oddly shaped musics with an occasional side of performance art.

Evelyn plays in Inner Ear Brigade, Lantskap Logic trio with Fred Frith and Phillip Greenlief, and fronts the art rock duo CHIROMANCER.

goldener is a studio project Scott Evans (modular synth/engineering/production) and I (piano/synths/vox) completed this year. What was supposed to be a drone record became oddly shaped and metered electronic song. ///Today we release a single entitled heaven. Record comes out in a couple weeks. We had some incredible help from @beaunoise (mixing) and @ummm_r (mastering)//// Have a listen on Bandcamp: https://goldener.bandcamp.com/album/goldener by @tantine_mere
