#AdoptMeRosita Rosita was abandoned at a notorious dumping site in #fortworthtx She was left all alone to fend for herself. She loyally waited for the people who abandoned her .With a will to survive, Rosita sought shelter wherever she could find it. She faced countless dangers, constantly searching for a safe place to hide 😥Despite the difficult circumstances, her spirit remained unbroken. Although petrified when rescued , she grew to trust me . ( rescuer & foster mom ) Rosita has thrived ..Whether she’s chasing after a ball, exploring new things to learn and do, or simply curling up next to her foster fur sibs , and or her humans. Rosita’s zest for life is a constant reminder of the resilience and strength that lies within all those we rescue , no matter their past.Although Rosita has flourished in my home, she dreams of finding her forever family. She has spent the last two years patiently waiting for her forever home.While her resilient spirit and loving nature have touched our hearts and others , she longs for a place to call her own. Routine searches and rescue , I will have to put on hold. As much as I hate to , I also handle what we have currently as priority. The gas is unbelievably high , and a few days ago I rescued another dog from the same shitty area I've been rescuing for over two decades .After a while repeating and repeating gets exhausting. I have videos of deceased dogs I have yet to share , I rescued that sweet boy ( Wally ) in hopes he'd find a foster and once rescued sadly no one realizes they still need help .He was rescued because I know either I'd find him dead , or he would be tortured in the hands of evil .A man in a truck was videoing him while I was driving up to him .Another reason, I took him immediately!!While beyond grateful for those who donated to Wally , each day the bill goes up .Yesterday we paid $296.00This does not include his hw treatment and neuter nor the continued medical and continued stay at the vet .( he is still there ) Prior to his rescue , Lilou was also rescued without funds and a foster, but she too was in danger .I'm not one that can drive away , never have been , I cant handle the fact that when I go back I might find them dead. I can't handle the emotional toll of not being able to rescue them etc.These are specific areas meaning same spots where they are found deceased and alive , those abandoned can end up dead ( I've been saying this for years ) I don't drive around the city , I frequent the same spots!! For those who may not know me or this area .For sixteen years, thousands have been saved from Echo Lake and surrounding area not including the backyard dogs held as prisoners on chains !Media , articles etc have helped bring awareness. If I continue rescuing without funds in place , I can end up homeless .I'm sorry , Im venting but also speaking from the heart .If you were to see those deceased you'd probably ask why I continue, and I would tell you that is why I continue. #EchoLake #CobbPark #CarterPark #everyanimalmatters #ftw #tx ( photo) one of many ! by @taoanimalrescue

The heartbreaking truth: when humans abandon a pet, they leave behind a family member who has no concept of betrayal.Bound by unconditional loyalty, these animals wait in confusion, holding onto a fading hope that the people they trusted will return. Another abandoned dog, same spot , known dumping site in Ftw , Tx .He broke my heart , no fosters or funds in place - I simply could NOT leave him ! His weakness , his little thin body would not survive the heat and mean streets of Ftw,Tx .Please help me help him.I rushed him to our vet ( Park Place Pet Hospital) 817-9199We are calling him Wally ❤️Vet is treating wound on neck and sadly he is heartworm positive. 🐾✨Georgi has found home✨🐾 - a forever home ! His sleep over turned forever .ADOPTED !! They say that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and Georgie’s new family is proof of that. After a year and two months of "foster" status, the papers are signed, and the wait is finally over."Georgie spent over a year waiting for his perfect match, but his new family would tell you they’ve been waiting a lifetime for a dog just like him."His rescue journey : Georgie waited at a park entrance for someone to come back for him. A place " known " where many " unwanted " animals are left abandoned.For 16 years, Judy Obregon has patrolled the streets and park entrances ( known dumping sites ) of Fort Worth, looking for the faces that others left behind. During one of her routine searches , she found Georgie.
