💙 **Life After Graduation. What's Next?**

At The Autism Project FLOS Inc., we believe that opportunities for individuals with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities should not end when they graduate from school.

We are happy to share this resource from S:US (Services for the UnderServed), which offers Day Habilitation Programs for adults ages 21+ throughout NYC.

Their programs provide opportunities to build life skills, explore vocational training, develop friendships, and participate in meaningful community activities.

📌 Parents and caregivers, if you are exploring adult services for your loved one, please review the attached flyer for more information.

**Because life after 21 should be filled with possibilities, not limitations.**

No matter where someone is on the spectrum, they still deserve respect, support, and belonging.

Autism is not one experience. Every person has different strengths, challenges, communication styles, support needs, and ways of moving through the world.

But one thing should never change.

Every child, teen, and adult with autism deserves to be valued, included, protected, supported, and treated with dignity.

Inclusion is not just about being allowed in the room.

It is about being understood in the room.

It is about having support in the room.

It is about being respected in the room.

At The Autism Project FLOS Inc., we believe families deserve real options, and individuals with autism deserve communities that meet them where they are.

Respect. Support. Belonging.

**The system has gaps. Our adult children feel them most.**

Families raising adults with Autism and IDD know this truth firsthand. The needs do not disappear after childhood. The support cannot stop at transition. Our adult children still need real options, real community, and real belonging.

Too many families are left trying to fill the gaps alone. Gaps in adult services. Gaps in meaningful programs. Gaps in respite. Gaps in transportation. Gaps in social connection. Gaps in support that actually fits real life.

We are not asking for special treatment.

We are asking for systems that recognize the full journey.

Adults with Autism and IDD deserve support that meets them where they are, honors their dignity, and gives families more than limited choices.

The Autism Project FLOS Inc. was proud to continue our Project Backpack initiative, providing backpacks and school supplies to students attending Extended School Year (12-month) programs. Every child deserves to begin the school year feeling prepared, valued, and supported.
