Oh Peanut, how do you say goodbye to your best friend? .. my dear, sweet boy I’ve struggled to find the perfect words but there are none that can come close to being worthy. A part of me refusing to write this as if it would somehow change the days that have just passed. We’ve known for months that you’ve been fighting and you put up more than a fight this year. A week ago today your tiny body could no longer hold on and I held you in your favorite spot reassuring you with as much love and comfort as I could, like you have done countless nights by my side, that it was all ok as you took your last breath. To say my heart is broken is an understatement but I’m so grateful everyday that I got to love you for as long as I did and I had the blessing of being your Mama. For 10 years you’ve been by my side, loving me unconditionally and teaching me so much as I’ve navigated this road of life. From the moment you saw me at @streettails you claimed me even though I was there for another pup. Somehow you knew we needed each other. You jumped on me with your tiny paws and giant ears and stole my heart with a lick of my nose. You’ll hold that part forever. 10 more years and it still wouldn’t be enough time. You gave me more than I could ever give you and I’ll remember you forever. Rest easy and run free my best boy. Until we meet again, I love you 🤍 by @tara_dimattio

Struggling to find the words for this goodbye … 💔 Daniil, you were one of my favorite people - truly one of a kind with the biggest heart. Your laughter, and energy, were contagious. You were the best Dad to DJ and loving you came easy for all that knew you. Thank you for always making me feel special, beautiful and seen. I’m so grateful for our time together. Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl 🎀🎵🐶

Life is full of surprises, and this sweet girl is one of the most beautiful of all. There’s been such a hole in my heart since losing my Peanut last year, I’ve met a few adorable, adoptable pups but none felt like the perfect fit- until I met this sweet, abandoned girl. It should have been no surprise how much we loved each other, not only because we are already twinning 💁‍♀️ but because @anythingthatsparkles was the one that shared her with me and was also the angel that led me to Peanut. 🪽
