First look at the MIDI64 MK1 midi controller, I've spent the past year (the first one was made in Feb 2025) building this midi controller for my own live sets and it's been incredibly handy. My current setup uses it alongside my APC Mini to basically get full APC40 MK2 functionality at less than a third of the price.

Works with anything that can take midi over usb C + can assign knobs to outputs. It has 16 midi assignable knobs, over 4 pages and over 16 midi channels - for a total of 1024 midi assignable knobs!!

it is 12.5 cm x 13 cm x 4.5 cm big. Fits in a hoodie pocket.

The left button controls the page and the right button controls the midi channel.

I build and sell these midi controllers for INR 10,000 and take roughly 2-4 weeks per controller.

They come with a lifetime repair warranty - and an all inclusive warranty (including shipping) for the first year.

These are handbuilt in my childhood bedroom in Bangalore. They come with a bag, a cable, and an ableton midi control user script.

Super excited to be bringing my ambient improvisation live set to Karu, Ladakh this weekend on Sunday, 6th September at @akasagathering.

Very honoured to be on the same stage as @fursat_fm, @iakksakkath, @m_r_mortazavi and others! I go on at 3PM on Sunday.

I'll be field testing the @tarab_instruments
Super Simple Module series (Super Simple Delay (and Reverb), and the Super Simple Daisy). For this performance I've written a custom additive drone synth firmware based on buchla additive patch workflows.

Calling this one Arcane Indicator. Full Track is out on YouTube. Using VCV Rack to generate all sounds. While the track is arranged on the Tracker and they’re communicating via Midi. MIDI64 is mapped to a bunch of parameters in VCV for added control. by @tarab_instruments

Feeling so incredibly happy after the first edition of our "Build Your Own Noise Box Workshop!" at @papercranelab <3

12 noise boxes built over 3 hours! we started by learning where noise boxes come from (Hugh Davies' Sho-Zyg boxes from 1968) and learnt how piezo discs pick up sounds, then we learnt what impedance is and why we need an amplifier to be able to hear all the frequencies that the discs pickup.

Once we had all the theory down, we started with planning out where we wanted our attachments and accessories to go and we drilled the holes for the springs and saw blade attachments!

Everyone got to try out their noise boxes, the setup included plugging into my 10 input mixer with the Hologram Microcosm adding reverb and delay effects!

My favourite clip is of everyone just working with their hands with Miles Davis playing in the background.
