10/10 lululemon ambassador event!

Sunday we spent the evening at Anna and Bel learning about leadership and community.

One of my favorite things we discussed was the importance of being present. Whether at work or at home, there’s something incredibly powerful about walking into a space or conversation with a clear mind, meeting people where they are, and truly being in the moment. When you give your full attention to what’s right in front of you, it can completely change the energy of an interaction and, ultimately, the entire trajectory of your day.

I also successfully parallel parked in Fishtown and am now accepting congratulatory cards and edible arrangements.

Thank you to the incredible lululemon team for curating such a fabulous evening.

Happy 1st birthday George!

In April I had a fundraiser for Homeward Bound. I went to drop off the check and there was this cat meowing and staring at me in the window lobby. His name was Captain Ron, he had 3 legs, and he was picked off the streets in Camden.

I don’t know what happened in those 2 minutes but suddenly I was filling out paper work to adopt him and named him George.

He went from the streets of Camden to shitting in a rocket ship liter box and eating 3 cans of tuna a day 🤣

Summer’s tough. Find workouts that help you get your ass up in the morning and start your day strong. It can be bootcamps, Pilates, yoga, walks outside, anything! But move your body. You’ll feel like a million bucks. Love yas!

Last weekend was my bday but I was off from work for a few days so I took advantage of it and disconnected from my phone. Highly recommend!

Thanks for all the love and bday wishes this past week. I spent it with family, friends, great workouts, Snooki, my new 3 legged cat George and sleeping in past 3am. Simple things are what makes me happy these days (and an occasional designer item). Things can change very quickly and I’m very grateful for another year around the sun ❤️

OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR OF LULULEMON ❤️

In 2014 I got my personal training certificate and made Toning Up With T an LLC. My gym was located in my parent’s garage, I had 3 pieces of old and rusty gym equipment, and my 2 clients were my mom’s friends.

I immediately cartwheeled into Lululemon and asked to speak to the manager. I told her my name was Tara Mangold, I owned a power house gym called Toning Up With T, and I’d like to become an ambassador immediately HAHA.

The kind manager quickly brought me back down to earth and explained how it works to become a Lululemon Ambassador. It does not matter who you are or what you own. What matters is the community that you build.

Well 12 freaking years later, brick by brick, highs and lows, ups and downs, 7 different locations, addiction, sobriety, and waking up every single morning and putting my heart and soul into this gym, Lululemon Cherry Hill asked me to be their ambassador.

I truly can’t put into words how grateful and excited I am. And I hope anyone reading this that feels stuck or frustrated where they’re at in life, knows that anything good takes time.

Thank you to @katherineamontana @bryce_lellios @quacktran and the entire Lululemon team for this unbelievable opportunity and making this dream of mine come true. I promise I won’t let you down!

And last but sure as heck not least, to every single member or client, past, present, and future, thank YOU for creating this community with me. Toning Up With T does not exist without you, and I love you all so much. We’ve been building something very special together, and it’s only the beginning!
