Over the past year, I’ve faced myself in ways I have yet to before. And while painful, the emotional clarity has been healing and has made me feel more grounded. Heading into this powerful next chapter with patience, courage, and grace ✨❤️‍🔥🦁🎂 by @taranovie

An incredible 40 miles with @alannovie. Though I wish it was a tad warmer (and less windy!), it was a strong ride for us both this time around, and wow - what a cooooool way to experience our epic city. 🥹💕🚴🏻‍♀️🙌🏼

This year’s run over the Brooklyn Bridge was clear and truly stunning. The fog last year made it impossible to see anything beyond a few feet in front of you! And so… this brought up a lot for me today — particularly as a native NYer. This is also a difficult and epic course! From Prospect Park, over the Brooklyn Bridge, up the FDR, through Times Square, to Central Park 🗽🍎🧡

Going over the bridge, I reflected on resilience. I felt grateful for my body. How it has saved me and supported me… through injuries, pain, and lots of confusion. While my past has made me hypervigilant, my body has really always taken care of me. And so in that moment, I honored it 🙏🏼

We really are and continue to be the sum of our life experiences. The longer we live, the more we will endure, and the deeper we get to know ourselves… in all capacities. Oh, the ponderings of long races… xx
