Happy to announce The Cost of Care will be shown in @elpasofilmfestival ❤️!

I couldn’t be happier for my first short film that I directed with help of my AWESOME CREW AND FRIENDS!! ❤️ I feel so proud of my team and the beautiful result! I had the amazing luck of having one of my friends as Director of Photography @natbravo212 and my amazing producers @sshaannee and @oh_chosenone ❤️

Thank you so much to all my crew and cast that helped to make this real! Everyone did an amazing job! You don’t know how much I appreciate you all and how proud I’m of everyone! ❤️

Don’t miss out “The Cost of Care” in El Paso Film Festival, September 24th at 1:00 PM in the Philanthropy Theater!! ❤️

Happy to share the short animated film my teammate and I completed last December. The Inconvenience Store is a senior 3D animated short film created under the 3D Program at the Creative Media Institute, New Mexico State University, directed by Ailed Macías Alvarado. The film follows Isa, an apathetic teenager working the night shift at her family’s convenience store, whose small mistake summons a magical alebrije—forcing her to reconnect with her inner child and rediscover the importance of staying true to herself and her cultural roots.

This project was developed as a culmination of undergraduate studies, combining environment design, look development, animation, and technical production to tell a culturally inspired story grounded in Mexican tradition.
