Can I retire as a hair and makeup artist and become a comedian now ??? This is exactly the thought that haunted me months after this shoot. I spent 4 days with the funniest man on the planet, someone who will never stop being the best person to host the Oscars. Whatever happens with my comedic career I will always be that hair and makeup artist in Mumbai who made Conan O’Brien laugh….a lot.

I seem to struggle with either being the entrepreneur or the artist. Do I listen to Riddhi or Siddhi ? The voices of the twins seem to create an internal conflict. One wants structure and soil, the other wants to frolic into the depth of the cosmos.
I want Kriya. I want flow. At this point that’s not a mere desire, it’s a fucking need. Siddhi wants to quietly exist as an artist creating and playing, but omg does Riddhi push me out there.
Accepting the integration, a step up from trying to balance this duality. Gemini season is done as we move into Cancer season where I am the hard exterior AND there is a deep softness that exists inside me. by @tarshakohli

Then it hit me all at once… my Persian ancestors did not leave Iran so I could shutup and take it. The fact that what’s his name left me on read is not even annoying anymore. I am fine being mediocre at this mediocre job. I don’t want to spend all my time thinking about how I could have done better working towards something that was always going to pull me down.
