Pure heat, total liberation, and a whole lot of bad behavior. 💋🔥 Uncut Cabaret last night was everything it promised to be and then some.
From bringing the drama in a trio with two of my absolute favorites, serving up a sultry solo and tearing up the floor with my badass, DivaDance babes, last night was pure euphoria. 💃✨
Uncut is hands down my favorite Orlando Gay Chorus event of the year because it’s the one night we get to be as loud, and utterly outrageous as we desire. surrounded by a room of people who devour every second of it. For our LGBTQ+ community, getting to unleash like this, stand on stage next to people we love, and feel hot as hell doing it, is absolute freedom. 🌈🔥
To everyone who came out to revel in the chaos with us: thank you.
To the incredible team at The Ren, thank you. You always take such wonderful care of us. It is pleasure not only to perform with the expertise of your engineers; techs and house staff, but also to know we are performing in a space that is founded on providingopportunities for art of all backgrounds and perspectives to be seen.

Somehow today was my 25th class with @divadanceorlando
I am so grateful for this incredible squad and the electric joy we get to share every time we dance together. Not to mention all the shenanigans we get into outside of class. They say time heals all wounds, and while therapy is helping and I know genuine joy, the struggle still lives alongside it. So many truths can exist at once. Sexual violence reshapes the lives it impacts forever, my life included. I debated whether or not I wanted to stay at home after a long day, or drive myself to dance to do something for me. I’m so glad I danced. Today is the anniversary of my sexual assault and it has been hard. But - moving and letting my body feel all it needed to feel, was a release I didn’t realize how desperately I needed. This is your reminder that doing things that challenge us, that make us feel vulnerable, are the same things that set us free. Tonight I’m grateful for the healing power that is Art, that is Music, that is Dance. by @tarynlea123

If you want to know what queer joy, resilience, and community looks like, look to Orlando. Halfway through June and my heart is so full.
From welcoming my 30s at Girls in Wonderland with two of my best gays (surrounded by hundreds of hot sapphic women and sexy lesbian burlesque dancers) to finding my groove with my new @DivaDance squad. 👑💃
From the heavy, but necessary, honor of singing with my Orlando Gay Chorus family to mark the 10-year anniversary of the Pulse shooting, straight into the 2nd annual Rainbow Connection festival creating music with all of our Florida GALA chorus siblings. 🎶❤️
And of course...the after-parties! All of our choruses invading Savoy and Anthem both nights to dance, laugh, and celebrate who we are. 🥂✨
We have cried, we have sung, we have remembered, and we have celebrated. Keep dancing, Orlando! Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈
