Celebrated my 30th birthday (WOAH) spending 2 days in the mountains, followed by the BEST party in my childhood home w/ 30 of my closest family and friends. I couldn’t have imagined a better, more fulfilling way to ring in this new decade. Praise GOD for more years, more life, and more LOVE✨♥️ #dirty30 #SagittariusSzn by @taylorharbu

Join your hosts, Heather and Zoey, as they step inside the heart of Sing Sing, a quietly radical, deeply human film starring Colman Domingo and a cast of formerly incarcerated men telling their own story.

In Part One of our two-part Sing Sing celebration, we’re joined by costume designer Desira Pesta, who helps us unpack the film’s layered beauty, one look at a time.

From sourcing prison uniforms to designing theatrical dreamscapes, Desira reveals how she built a wardrobe rooted in truth, care, and collaboration. We talk about the intimacy of fittings, the power of clothing to transform and transport, and what it means to honor real people through costume.

In Part two, we’re joined by Second Assistant Director, Taylor Harris-Butler, who leads us through the 15,000 steps she took on set each day.

With charm and good humor, Taylor has perfected the art of rushing people to ensure that the production moves smoothly. From her owning the mistakes she’s made to her rallying cries to dive in and pursue your passions, Taylor has abundant wisdom to share from her time working on Sing Sing and beyond.

Both episodes are streaming NOW and you can get them wherever you get your podcasts!

Support female filmmakers. Support Indie Film. Wish Zoey a happy birthday.

We’ll see you next month for another episode, film nerds!
