End of a Chapter, Not the Story.

22 years, countless matches, one game that shaped everything. From my first touch as a kid to every practice, every scar, every trophy, every heartbreak and every finals, this sport took a kid with a ball and turned him into who I am today. None of this happens without my Tata, my grandfather, a professional player and coach himself, who introduced me to this game and guided me every step of the way. Everything I am on this field, I owe to him. Competitive soccer taught me how to fall and get back up more times than I can count, and gave me more than a game, it gave me discipline, brotherhood, and a life. To everyone who’s been part of this journey with me, teammates, coaches, family, friends, in the US, Spain and Bolivia, thank you. This isn’t goodbye, it’s thank you. I don’t think I’ll compete at the highest level again, it’s time to step aside from that chapter, but I will never leave this game. Cleats off (for now), heart full. Thank you for everything beautiful game. And thank you Tata for everything. Hope you’re proud. Kisses to heaven ❤️⚽ taken in The Beautiful Game by @tbascon
