Not a big fan of portrait posts, but Alex did such an amazing job capturing the creation of 'Forever Jungbusch' that it felt like a waste not to share. A few shots from the Stadt Wand Kunst project in Mannheim back in June.

I painted the mural “Dhampir” at @formakumanovo , based on research from the Institute of Folklore and the book Vampires in Macedonian Beliefs and Traditions. The work draws directly from the book’s accounts of vampire myths and folklore in North Macedonia, translating them into a contemporary visual expression. The sun, as a symbol of the state, serves as a reference to the location and is also linked to the belief that vampires are destroyed by sunlight.

A big thank you to the entire Forma Kumanovo crew for their great energy and organization, and to the lovely neighbors for their warm support, smiles, coffee, and cakes ❤️ by @tea.kvar

What a week this has been… a few wonderful days at the @fasadafestival with amazing people, great food, and of course some painting too! My contribution was the mural “Friends”, and this year’s theme was endangered animal species. In addition to the animals, there is of course also a human being, as an inseparable part of the circle of life. They are drinking traditional Bosnian coffee and spending time together, like true friends and equal beings. Endless thanks to the entire Fasada team, the passersby, the wonderful artists, and new friends ❤️

"The Game Doesn't Stop For Red" is a visual interpretation of the curatorial theme “Me Lujtë” (To Play) for this year’s @muralfestkosova. Located on a school facade, the artwork merges motifs of the urban environment and childhood, questioning the boundaries between the rigid, everyday functioning of the city and the complete freedom that play brings.

Three blue faces holding sports balls in vibrant colors—red, yellow, and green—subtly evoke a traffic light and urban regulation. While children are completely absorbed in their play, the artwork conveys that adults become part of that very game by watching over them, taking responsibility, and protecting them in the urban space so their play never has to stop. by @tea.kvar

"Oink Oink, Woof Woof, Baaaa"

My new interactive mural painted during @ibug.art Festival at Muskator, a former animal feed factory.
Stand in the middle and feel them coming for you. Politicians and corrupt elites loom from all sides - the closer you get, the more your human footprints turn into sheep's.

Summer’s almost over, but we’re still hanging out with Tea in our heads. It was just too good. So here’s one last little treat: @tea.kvar talks about what matters to her when she’s creating art, and how she got into painting murals in the first place 💛

“DER KREIS” (The Circle) (2026, Bremen, Germany)
@tea.kvar

The Circle (Der Kreis) weaves a thread to the health sciences, which connect the individual with society. Between prevention and care, nursing, medicine and research, one question stands out: how do people and communities stay healthy? The mural captures it in a single gesture: sewing.
Two hands face each other. The upper one wears a glove and coat. It reaches down from the clouds and sutures a wound. The lower one, from society, sews the same coat. The connecting thread makes visible: every stitch is mirrored on the other side. A DNA strand and a spool of yarn show the human being from two perspectives, that of science and that of everyday life.
The mural understands health not as a hierarchical relationship but as a cycle of mutual care. The health sciences protect, heal and accompany, and society bears responsibility for those who protect and research it. This cycle gives the work its name: The Circle (Der Kreis).
