I’m so very Blessed to say that I will be the assistant coach of the inaugural Coe College women’s wrestling program!

I cant wait to see this program flourish into something great, and continue to contribute to the community that women’s wrestling creates. I’m so grateful that @kalebmreeves put his trust in me to help lead this team through its first season, an opportunity that younger me could’ve only dreamed of.

After 3 years, I think sometimes I get worried there will be a fade in the way I view life after you left. I see this Polaroid almost everyday and see how it’s faded and felt the effects of time, just like everything else.

But you yourself never really left, and this is just a picture anyway. And I still view life very delicately, with love and hope and faith just like you’ve always taught me and everyone who encountered you. In the flowers, and bugs, and people, we can find belief that there will always be good and the people we love never really leave. Love you always and forever 🤍 by @teaganjae

Throughout the four years I’ve worked in an SID role, the biggest question I receive is, “what do you do?” Which might possibly be the hardest question to answer.

When I was 18, I created the first media guide, statistic keeper, and a trailblazing social run for @iowawomenswrestling. From then on I was able to help build a program that we all knew would be historical. During that time I was also able to learn so much about a sport I never thought I would, working for @iowatennis.

Moving here, I was able to do the same for @cubuffstennis, working with great people and such a fun team. Along with working in statistics with @cubuffsfootball and learning to be a statistician for several other sports.

Sports info directors get buried a lot in the athletics world, which sucks, because without it, who knows what college athletics history would look like? Also, who would do every single odd job presented when something goes wrong? ☺️ So, I’m glad I’ve been able to contribute to that since I was 17, and I’m excited for what’s next.
