The week of the National FFA Convention will always be one of my favorite weeks of the year!

Over the past eight years, the FFA has taught me as many lessons as there are threads in this jacket. Receiving my American Degree reminded me just how deeply this organization has shaped the person I’ve become and how many people have played a role in the journey. I’m forever grateful for the people, experiences, and memories the FFA has brought into my life.

This year’s convention felt like a full-circle moment as I facilitated workshops in the very place where eighth-grade me once sat wide-eyed in my first FFA workshop, unaware of all the places this blue jacket would take me. Facilitating was such a joyful experience!

My list of mentors and supporters is long, and so is the gratitude in my heart for the ways they’ve poured into my journey. Thank you, Jesus, for an organization that brings incredible people together, for mentors who selflessly share their wisdom, and for the example You set of how to love others well.

“All my life you have been faithful. All my life you have been so, so good.”

During our time in Brazil, the Lord worked in mighty ways- glory to God! By His grace, hearts were softened, love was shared, and hope was restored. Thank you, Jesus!!

There are no words to fully capture what these two weeks were like. God moved deeply in our hearts, and the Spirit went before us, working powerfully for the sake of God’s kingdom. I’m nearly brought to tears each time I think about this trip and the impact it had on so many lives. I could share countless testimonies of God’s faithfulness- praise Him for His goodness!

Thank you, Jesus, for saving us.
Thank you for working in the hearts of your children.
Thank you for opening our eyes to the brokenness of this world.
Thank you for opening our hearts to see your goodness.
Thank you for dwelling with us, caring for us, and loving us.
Thank you for drawing near to us.
Thank you for your faithfulness.

The joy, love, and time shared in Brazil have left a lasting mark on every one of us.

There truly is nothing to say but thank you, Jesus❤️❤️

Each time I look at my Association FFA jacket, my heart fills with gratitude and overflows with memories that I cherish. Thank you, North Dakota FFA, for this year of service - one that will always hold a special place in my heart. This blue jacket has taught me invaluable lessons and introduced me to some of the most amazing people. For that, I will be forever grateful. ❤️

The 97th National FFA Convention brought me people who are devoted in love- not only to each other, but also to the FFA and the members they serve, and who honor others above themselves. Being surrounded by so many young leaders who selflessly serve the people around them is both encouraging and rewarding, and I am so grateful to that I got to witness the love that fellow state officers and staff from across the nation have for this organization and the members of it this past week!

Good people make for great memories, and I’m fortunate to say this past week brought me both.❣️

Thankful for another great week in the blue jacket! :)
