I’m incredibly proud to work with such a dedicated and hardworking athlete! Your tenacity and resilience have proven that you are truly a force to be reckoned with. In my 22 years of coaching, I’ve never had an athlete progress as quickly as @tirza.lara In just three months of training, she’s achieved remarkable improvements: - Gained 15 pounds of muscle - Set a new personal best 30 meters sprinting - Achieved personal bests in every lifting exercise - Improved her skeleton pushing time from 5.50 to 5.31 seconds in the icehouse (with even bigger things to come!) Thank you for trusting me to guide you on this journey. The best is yet to come! #skeletonathletes #teampaes #thisgirlisonfire🔥 taken in WinSport's Canada Olympic Park by @team.paes

🛷 **Bobsleigh Push Mechanics** From the first movement at the blocks to the final step and a clean load—every action counts. Based on more than 20 years of experience as an athlete, coach, and technician, supported by repeated video analysis, this presentation explores how block projection, posture, ground contact time, hand position, force transfer, and crew timing change as the sled accelerates. The goal is to understand how the push evolves and what makes it effective. 💡 Keep one question in mind: Does each action help transfer force forward through the sled? ▶️ Watch the full presentation on YouTube: [https://youtu.be/uy3VQvL5Mzw] (https://youtu.be/uy3VQvL5Mzw) \#Bobsleigh #PushMechanics #BobsleighTraining #Acceleration #TeamAlberta #AlbertaBobsleigh #CoachEducation #bobsleigh @ibsfsliding @bobsleighcanskeleton @albertabobsleigh @koenig.steven taken in WinSport's Canada Olympic Park by @team.paes

📚Education Day: The first stride starts before the athlete’s feet hit the ground. Coach Ano breaks down the “hit” and fall into the sled: how the the speed of the trunk drop and the athlete’ ability to  alternately decelerate and control the fall into the appropriate hit angle all influence the timing and power of that critical first stride. Executing it well requires trunk control - intermuscular and interneuromuscular coordination across joints -  that must be intentionally developed through training. Every detail matters. Every movement has a purpose. We’re leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of better performance. #AlbertaBobsleigh #EducationDay #PerformanceByDesign #IntentionalTraining #BobsleighStart by @team.paes
