My little princess ❤️

She has an army of uncles around her and some incredible women in her corner, all helping to guide her and remind her of who she is.

One thing I really want her to grow up with is a love for her natural self. Her Afro, her features, our culture and the hairstyles that celebrate who she is. I want her to know from a young age that she never has to change herself to fit somebody else’s idea of beauty.

I know the world will introduce her to plenty of different influences as she grows, and I hope she always has the confidence to make her own choices without feeling pressured to follow every trend or seek validation from others.

I want her to be strong, respectful, confident and comfortable in her own skin. Most importantly I want her to know her worth and never feel she has to become somebody else to be valued.

I’m especially grateful for her mum, because she leads by example. She’s made certain sacrifices with hairstyles and things she enjoys because she wants our daughter to see a woman who embraces herself and takes pride in her natural beauty.

It’s one thing to tell a child who they should be; it’s another thing to show them.

I only wish every one of our young girls could grow up hearing how beautiful their natural hair, features and identity are. ❤️

She has a beautiful heart, a strong family around her and so many good women to learn from.

The world will have plenty of ideas about who she should become. We’ll simply remind her that she is already enough. ❤️

Future fellas… this won’t be an easy open target @officialcro_ceo we protect ours 🥷🏽 🧙🏽‍♂️🤌🏽🕳️

Sports Day with my little champions 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️💙
Me and his mum were both there supporting him, and you could see how much it meant. Parents, if you’re able to attend next year, please do the kids notice who shows up. Some children didn’t have anyone there cheering them on, and that hit different. These moments matter. by @team_dad_mode

Father’s Day is every day for me 💯

They’re not just my children they’re my team, my motivation, and my reason to keep building.

Every moment with them is a blessing, and memories like this mean more than anything money could buy.

And to the dads who don’t get to see their children as much as they wish they could keep going. Keep loving them, keep bettering yourself, and never stop showing up in every way you can. Your love still matters. by @team_dad_mode

Before you watch…

Don’t be stingy 🤣💙

On a serious note, this June I’m taking part in March for Men to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

As a father of 5, this cause is close to my heart. Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men, and for Black men the risk is even higher.

What many people don’t realise is that prostate cancer often has no symptoms in its early stages. That’s why awareness and early detection are so important.

This isn’t just about men.

It’s about fathers.
It’s about sons.
It’s about brothers.
It’s about grandfathers.

It’s about families.

If you’d like to support me and this amazing cause, the link is in my bio. Every donation, no matter how small, is genuinely appreciated.

💙 Thank you.

If every son had this kind of fatherhood, the world wouldn’t look the same. Better men, healthier relationships, stronger women. We shape each other.

A lot of us become parents before we’ve fully learned ourselves. That’s why presence matters. Healing matters. Fatherhood matters.

People need to stop judging so quickly like they are perfect and love pointing the finger. Nobody’s completely clean and you never know what someone had to survive before they found peace.

I learned emotional regulation late and had to learn the hard way like so many of my brothers. A lot of what I picked up came from the wrong environments and it took time to unlearn what survival taught me.

There’s not enough real role models out here. A real role model can be someone who’s made mistakes, grown from them, changed and is honest enough to share their experiences so others don’t have to learn everything the hard way.

That’s why I take my kids away whenever I can to give them peace, perspective and space away from a lot of the negativity around us in the UK. You have to be intentional about what your children are exposed to #selfgrowthjourney #raisingboys #teamdadmode #dadlife taken in Turkey Marmaris by @team_dad_mode

Yeah, I might lose out on some money, so what. The little smiles, inside jokes & fun we have on that 15-minute walk are priceless. I’m soaking up these moments while I can because as I’m seeing with my older teenagers, soon enough they won’t even want me at the school gate 🤣 #TeamDadMode #prouddad by @team_dad_mode

Built by love, powered by fatherhood 💪🏾

My kids seeing me stay healthy means more than just fitness. Growing up, I was around a lot that taught strength in the wrong way, like fighting, shutting down & carrying everything in silence. So now as a father, I’m intentional about showing my children something better.

That’s why I speak about emotions, self control & learning how to regulate what we feel. Real strength isn’t just physical, it’s being grounded, disciplined, present, emotionally aware & leading with love. I want my kids to grow up understanding that being strong is about far more than muscles.

That’s also why I put them in jiu jitsu, not just to learn how to defend themselves, but to build discipline, confidence, respect, focus & self control from an early age.

The other day my son got shouted at in jiu jitsu by the coach & he cried for a minute & as hard as it was, I held back. As a parent your first instinct is to protect but I also know there’s value in letting our children grow through certain moments. Learning how to stay calm, take guidance, regulate emotions & keep going is part of building real strength too.

To them, I feel like Superman, & I carry that responsibility with pride. My greatest flex will always be my kids #prouddad #growth by @team_dad_mode

My little champion 🏆💙

One trophy for him, but the best part for me was seeing how proud he was of himself.

His smile, confidence and happiness meant more than anything. Moments like this are bigger than football they’re about believing in yourself and enjoying the journey.

Proud of you always, on and off the pitch ⚽️👑 #prouddad #littlechampion by @team_dad_mode

Exploring Ghana 🇬🇭 We visited the Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm to learn all about the history of cocoa, then spent time enjoying the beautiful botanical gardens. A day full of culture, learning, nature, and unforgettable family memories. 🍫🌿 taken in Aburi Botanical Gardens by @team_dad_mode

Visited Elmina Castle today with my family. It was a deeply humbling experience.

Seeing it with our own eyes was heavy. You can feel the weight of history the pain, the loss, and the truth of what so many endured.

Elmina Castle was built in 1482, and from 1637 to 1814 (177 years) it was one of the major slave-trade sites on the West African coast a brutal reminder of how long this inhuman system was allowed to continue.

I’m still shocked that human beings could do this to other human beings and even more shocked by how the effects still live on today through trauma, inequality, lost identity, and systems built from that cruelty.

We came to learn, reflect, and honor those who came before us. We left with deeper gratitude and a reminder that this history must never be forgotten. 🖤

A moment our family will carry with us forever.

History like this should never be forgotten.
