Date 44/100 solo dates

Growing up Chinese I would remember we would have tea at every gathering and it would be something that was shared regardless the occasion. And as a kid from an immigrant family, and looking back, keeping those traditions from our own culture was so important as it can get lost trying to fit into a new country ❤️

This date brings all the warm and fuzzy feelings of home

teamendous is a traditional chinese tea house in don mills where you can do your own tea ceremony

what we got:
🍵 dan cong oolong (tea ceremony)
🍓 strawberry matcha latte
☕ osmanthus oolong coffee latte

the ceremony comes with a snack spread and you get to keep sipping as long as you want, we were not in a rush to leave. perfect spot if you want something slower than your usual cafe run

most healing tea experience I’ve ever tried 🥹 and this is from a girlie who LOVES afternoon tea! this was my first time trying a Chinese tea ceremony and there was something so simple but elegant about the entire 2-hour experience. You’re served a beautiful, premium Chinese tea, such as Phoenix Oolong Tea, accompanied by traditional Chinese snacks such as dried fruits and pastries. It was simple and yet so grounding at the same time.

The ambiance is quiet and comforting and it really gave me much needed reflection time with my thoughts and feelings. If you’re looking for a reset or even a small break from daily life, this afternoon tea experience is just what you’d need. Perfect to enjoy with a friend or even on your own - you deserve it ☺️🍵
