Who in the world could’ve come up with such a rad mash up? Sam. 100% Sam. 💐

This one is inspired by a similar rose I made for our friend Leslie, but Sam wanted hers to have bubblegum pink bursts and leopard print! This was so much fun to design and because of this piece, I have so many ideas for others!! Thank you so much @matchashojo !! Make sure you follow her as well for tattoos and art! ✨

One more small session next time for leaves - also with piercings✨ Bottom section healed, upper is fresh

I was in hard debates whether or not I should share Leslie’s rose yet, considering the bottom left corner is healed and the rest is fresh, but honestly I’m really proud of it and very excited to share it. I really do think we nailed the tones we wanted and I’m honored to have done this on a very good friend. Thank you for sitting through it and being very open to this idea @peanut____________ !! Can’t wait to add leaves later!! ♥️♥️♥️
.
🚨I’d love to add a larger variety of colored realism roses/ florals to my portfolio!! Send me an inquiry and I’ll cut you a deal. Let’s get some pinks, yellows, browns, orange, the whole dang rainbow ✨

Happy October 3rd to all my fellow nerds!! Resharing these because today is a national holiday in my book ✨

FMA is one of the best shows ever made and it’s my absolute favorite anime. It really brings me joy to meet others that connect with it the same way, even more so when asked to tattoo it on them. I’d love to create more Fullmetal pieces that are entirely your own, so what’re you waiting for? Link in bio

Where and how do I even start…

First of all - IMMENSE gratitude to my client Fernie for everything about this piece. He won one of my giveaways and wanted Jim Carrey’s wolf impersonation in The Mask movie done in realism. He wanted the wolf to capture who he’s influenced by, and asked for my own interpretation of this idea. Well. I wanted to design something that was fun and playful, different than other “The Mask” tattoos I’ve seen, and really present who heavily inspired the movie as a whole - the cartoons.

Besides The Mask’s character and general storyline being based on the comic, the wolf impersonation itself is a direct pull from animator Tex Avery’s Slick Joe McWolf character, and expressively very Looney Tunes. I didn’t want the wolf to be by himself, so I paid my own homage by reimagining Cameron Diaz as Wolfie’s Red. The newspaper was the perfect route for me to really pull everything together and in case the green face wasn’t enough, a way for a viewer to have the “ -oh that’s The Mask!!” moment click. Overall, I had so much fun with designing and executing. If there’s anything I can really ramble about it’s how much I love Looney Tunes. And I love Jim Carrey. And I love The Mask. It’s a brilliant movie, and I really feel honored to have made this on someone. Thank you Fernie for your dedication and trust. The honor was truly mine.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading. I hope you like it as much as I do. Thank you for all the love and support 🤍

This was tattooed over the course of 3 back to back days, approximately 23 hours. Words seriously cannot fully express how thankful I am.
