What should I work on?

Every person who has thrown a TechDisc has probably asked themselves this question. The answer is nuanced and depends on where you’re at right now. But after millions of throws and thousands of throwers we can look to the data for some answers.

Context Charts drops your numbers onto a map of the entire TechDisc population players, millions of throws — sorted into speed brackets. Because 1,100 RPM means something completely different at 45 MPH than it does at 67.

Knowing you throw with more spin than 40% of players is trivia. Knowing you have more spin than most players who throw your speed tells you where your game actually needs work.

If you want to dig in to the nuts and bolts of how this is queried and calculated more information is always available in our knowledgebase or in the ? buttons in the app.
Let us know which metrics you’re crushing and which other metrics you’re working on!

I’ll take that world record back. Thanks for holding it for me @jasper_tyll (come back soon!)

83.3 mph standstill World Record.

I don’t make the biomechanics. I just use em. 🤷‍♂️

What a day we had in Kansas City with @tech_disc !

Michael and I enjoyed a late night tennis match, the kids got to shoot hoops, played some simulator games and Eli even hit his first ace! A Hexagon only round at the local pitch and putt with the team was super fun! Even Junior enjoyed himself!

A training story we had to share...

Our team was in Finland at the World Championships last year and got the chance to see an incredible story of hard work and training up close. We spectated FPO's 4th round and got to see the incredible performance from @iida_dg up close as she pulled ahead going into the final day.

After the round a few of us waited to get autographs from the pros and when we caught up with Iida she was excited to see that we were from TechDisc, saying that she had spent all winter training with her coach, @joonas_merela , and her TechDisc.

At the same time the rest of our team happened to sit down to lunch across from Iida's family, who were excited to meet the TechDisc team and gave them the same story. Needless to say we were thrilled to play a small part in a player's journey, and especially in one of the most inspiring stories of the 2025 season!

Check out the full story on Ultiworld Disc Golf.

Of all the TechDisc stories we've heard from both pro and amateur players, this is one of our favorites and a great story for all the young (and not so young) players out there working on their game. Our whole team is wishing Iida the best of luck this season, and we're rooting for everyone out there who is working this hard to improve. by @tech_disc

Safe, Aggressive, and Psycho?!

@brian_earhart breaks down three ways to attack Hole #5 at New London Tech. We definitely saw at least two of these at the @pdga Champion's Cup this weekend!

This is the fourth installment of our new Flight Plan segment with DGN this year. All episodes are available on our YouTube channel.

Huge thanks to our friends at @overthrowdiscgolf for putting their TechDiscs in harms way to gather this data during the practice rounds, and to @anthonybarela11 and @es_discgolf for missing all the trees!

Try all three routes with your own TechDisc in the simulator! by @tech_disc

There's something about six sides...

When we heard that @sixsideddiscs and @trashpandadiscgolf were working on the Hexagon, we had to know how it flew, but with numbers. It felt disrespectful to put a round puck on this disc, so we cooked up something a little more angular.

Not for sale. Just for science.

It looks pretty good and might be the ultimate forehand TechDisc!

We had a blast throwing the Hexagon all around Texas during our visit for DISC South. Now we can run some definitive tests to see if it increases speed or spin for different grips. by @tech_disc

I taught lessons at Sprinkle Valley last Saturday and saw great results with a lot of students on the net. Still, that’s just on a net. It’s up to the student to use the cues and concepts to get change out in “the real world.” Got this text today from a student that just wanted 350’ stock shots on the course. Well Branden, I think that’ll do. 😂 by @tech_disc
