I’ve been seeing a lot of people struggling lately. Looking for work. Needing help. Just trying to make it through.

This Ram Dass quote hit me:

“Suffering is the sandpaper of our incarnation. It does its work of shaping us.”

For me, that doesn’t mean suffering is good. It just means the hard stuff changes us.

Sometimes it makes us softer. More human. More willing to help the next person.

So if you’re going through it right now, sending you some love. ❤️

And if you’ve made it through a hard season… what helped you keep going? by @technishawn

Dirty Shawnsghetti! 🍝🔥

I saw a dirty spaghetti recipe making the rounds and decided to take it in my own direction.

Beef, spicy Italian sausage, three colors of peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic, Cajun seasoning, fresh Italian herbs and a rich beefy sauce.

I finished it in cast iron with real Parmigiano-Reggiano under the broiler and a touch of sweet balsamic-style grape must at the end.

This one turned out ridiculously good.

Full recipe, what I changed, and the original inspiration are in the comments. 👇 by @technishawn

Mmmm Fresh Ratatouille and balsamic soaked focacia. Our dear friend, Jessie Gustin, gifted us with eggplant and garlic from her garden. We decided to make ratatouille! It was so good. I know you are jealous. Thanks, Jessie! by @technishawn
