As we take a short break before our next performance. We feel it's important to communicate this point across, especially since we have a following where we can make our voices heard.

We live in a world now that is very fast paced and developing so quickly. What some of us have agreed upon already is that many simple things that could be done to make our society better are already ignored.

Mental health is not given enough attention in education, and thus there is so much ignorance around it in the adult world. Although this issue can't be fixed now, we can at least spread around what is healthy living and help to establish a middle ground for people to build upon.

And that starts with basic standards for how to treat other people that involves minimal effort, where we can both give and receive to create a mutually fulfilling environment.

Respect people's boundaries. Respect people's space. Respect people's needs for communication.

COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT. Full stop.

Want to take your K-Pop to the next level with actual clients and gigs? Here’s some quick tips to help start that road below!

1) Build your showcase folder: have a professionally organised set of clips and footage that you can easily send to anyone straight away! The easier it is for people to see visuals of your dancing straight away, the more likely they’re going to have a good reaction. Having this organised on a website or a professional instagram are both great starters! Just make sure those thumbnails and clips are in HD quality!

2) Professional attitude: Realise that your personality is just as important as your dancing! Show that you can be reliable, professional and able to distance yourself from squabbles and conflict that often arise between individuals and groups. You’re not here for that! If you communicate well, have a can-do attitude and generally present yourself with likeable qualities then this is an attractive set of traits for other parties looking to book performers!

3) Communication: communication is a two way street! Don’t forget to convey your passion and excitement to be involved with what you’re doing! But also ensure not to accidentally ghost those approaching you with opportunities when you finally get there! Organisers often have to plan very far ahead, so the easier you make it for them to get you involved and plan, the more likely they’ll want to book you!

4) Go to events! Get out there and show the world what you’re made of! Don’t just stick at home! When you show that you’re willing to get out and make things happen, people with like minded thinking are more likely to notice you and want to work with you to make things happen! Let your personality shine where people can see it face to face!

5) Have a side hustle, here’s the less fun part. To invest in making things you’re going to need to travel, pay for tickets and just generally look after yourself because you’re going to be making a lot of effort to make things happen right? So make sure you have the finances to support you before you make your dreams come true!
