FIELD STUDY.

A quiet hike into Mont-Mégantic, arriving just as daylight gave way to blue hour. The steady pace, the fading light, and the stillness of the landscape became part of the process.

This field study focused on low-light conditions, complementary color relationships, and intentional motion drag, using extended exposure to explore how light, color, and movement interact within the landscape.

Yes, The photos and videos are the part you get to see.

But, The laughs on the trail, the wrong turns, the conversations, the rain, the tired legs, the quiet moments, the anticipation before the shot, and the memories made after it, those cannot make it into the frame.

Different motives. Same mountain.

A few years ago, I used to hike this mountain by myself.
It was my escape from the city, my way of reconnecting with nature.
The summit, the open views.. they had a way of clearing my mind.

Today, after introducing this place to a friend, What was once a place for quiet reflection has become a creative space, where we come to express our vision while being outside.

Different reasons being me here now, Always good times 🏔️

December 2025. Back from Morocco and straight to the mountains for a hike with @mathias_art . My body clearly forgot what real cold feels like. Temperatures were pushing -20°C with the wind, and the exposed summit made it impossible to stay out for more than a few minutes.

On the way back, deep in the forest, we finally found a calm pocket during blue hour. Just enough shelter from the wind to operate the camera and freeze a few moments. 📸 ❄️

Distance and Time has a way of changing how you see.
It teaches you what stays, and what truly matters.

The Hassan II Mosque has lived in my childhood like a quiet constant rising over Casablanca, and visible day and night.

Growing up, it was my north star, a silent guide that shaped my sense of direction long before I understood its scale.

Now, many years later, I return with curious eyes and a grateful heart. Time has taught me how to see. Distance has taught me what matters. And I was there, present, happy to honor a presence, and pay tribute. 🇲🇦 ♥️

Clicks to remember.

Waking before sunrise, still standing at sunset, all with one simple goal: capturing as many moments as humanly possible.

I don’t live near these magical places anymore, so every second feels precious. That thought always comes back when tiredness sets in, and it’s what keeps me moving, right until the very last drops of light.

And honestly… every single moment was worth it.
