We’re so grateful for Commissioner @commissionertedterry ’s continued support and leadership in advancing regenerative landscapes across DeKalb County.🌼

What looks like a field of flowers is actually a living climate solution.

Together with DeKalb County, we're proving that climate action can be practical, measurable, and beautiful.

🌿 8 new native flower species introduced
🌎 9.24 acres of regenerative landscape maintained
🐝 More habitat for pollinators and biodiversity
🌱 Potential carbon offsets of 24.9 - 38.3 tCO₂e
✂️ Lower maintenance. Lower emissions. Greater long-term resilience.

This is what happens when public leadership invests in nature as infrastructure.
And we're just getting started.

If you're a city, municipality, or public agency looking to build cooler, healthier, more resilient communities while reducing long-term maintenance costs, we'd love to partner with you.

Let's grow the future together.

The long game of progress is never a straight line. It moves in seasons.
As your County Commissioner, my commitment has always been anchored in protecting our shared future—fighting for the health of our environment, expanding the clean energy grid, and pushing back against massive infrastructure footprints that threaten our communities.
In local governance, the battles are intense. We have shared moments of profound friction over local decisions, land use, and public safety—moments where many of us stood on opposite sides of a painful divide. True progress doesn’t require us to erase the past or pretend those battles didn’t happen. It requires us to look at the horizon and understand what is at stake right now.
The upcoming gubernatorial election is about the macro-trajectory of our state. We cannot afford a season of stagnation. Right now, communities all over Georgia—urban, suburban, and rural—are grappling with the impacts of massive data center developments on our neighborhoods’ quality of life, our natural resources, and our climate.
Keisha Lance Bottoms understands this. Her stance supporting a statewide moratorium on data centers is exactly the right policy to support. It is the leadership we need to protect Georgia’s environment and give local governments the breathing room to regulate this explosive growth. When it comes to building a resilient green economy and protecting our air and water, the choice is clear. We move forward, or we freeze.
Organizing is a cycle—it requires resilience, a commitment to the bigger picture, and the maturity to unite when the future of our state hangs in the balance. That is why I am proud to officially endorse Keisha Lance Bottoms for Governor of Georgia.
Let’s do the work to ensure the next season is one of progress for all of us. 🗳️🌱

“It might seem like good news, but it’s actually a sham.”

Commissioner Ted Terry was the sole dissenting vote on the extension of a data center moratorium today.

🤔 Why? Because it doesn’t facilitate a truly impartial outside health & environmental study, instead allowing an internal review.

Hear directly from Commissioner Terry on why we still need to push forward and advocate for the Board’s adoption of his resolution for a truly independent health & environmental study, and fund that study, during the Board of Commissioners meeting next week.

Don’t miss these dates:

💬 Join us for a Data Center Town Hall
Monday, July 13, 6pm
@ Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community Center

🗣️ Speak out during the next Board of Commissioners Meeting
Tuesday, July 14, 9am
@ 178 Sams Street, Decatur

A breaking news Decaturish report just revealed that incumbent Nicole Massiah met behind closed doors to negotiate a massive data center deal... read more at @decaturish

South DeKalb deserves integrity, not secret deals that suck up our public water resources and strain our power grid. That’s why we need @keyannafordekalb Keyanna Jones Moore for District 3 Commissioner. She will fight for our health, wealth, and quality of life.
