1 year ago from today Katie & I watched the Chicago Marathon from my room at the Mercy South Rehab Hospital. Despite being wheelchair bound, I knew I would run the Chicago Marathon in 2026.

Having the opportunity to fundraise for Tedy’s Team was the cherry on top. Katie & I couldn’t be more thankful for each of you supporting our journey & contributing to a charity so near & dear to our hearts.

If there is anything I want people to understand is that stroke can happen to anyone! Educate yourself on the signs of stroke please. Tomorrow Katie & I are honoring every mile to every healthcare worker who helped make the dream of the 2026 Chicago Marathon a reality. Thank you! #tedysteam #wesurvivewerun by @tedysteam

SECRETS OUT. My eyes are officially on London. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I am so pumped and honored to continue this journey and share that I will be running in the 2027 London Marathon next April. I never expected the feeling and emotions of running Boston this past year, let alone a single marathon. It’s truly something special. But it’s not about me. This journey is all about the goal of raising awareness for Heart Disease and Stroke and helping a community that has hit our family and the many families around us so hard.

On April 24th, I will be running again with @tedysteam for my father and the countless other people close to our hearts who have been affected by these two awful diseases. My goal has always been to raise awareness, make a difference and prove the impact we can make together. Your support goes a long way and I couldn’t be more thankful for it.

Join me in my goal to BE FAST on April 24th and beyond and let’s make a difference together.

DMP❤️

We’re proud to see students turning their passion for stroke prevention and awareness into action through a student Stroke Awareness Advocacy project in Seaport. Education is a powerful first step toward a stroke-ready community. We’re grateful to the students, partners, and everyone who helped spread the word: BE FAST. Know the signs. by @tedysteam
