Sometimes you just gotta hype your babies up like they just won a Nobel Prize for writing a letter 😂❤️

But seriously, watching them learn how to write and now use those words to express themselves is pretty amazing. Something as simple as getting a little letter from your 5-year-old suddenly feels like the biggest thing in the world. Proud Papa moment for sure. ❤️

Okay Chicago… here’s a little sneak peek of what you can expect inside Mini City Play Cafe.

We’ve been showing you the construction, the progress, and all the behind-the-scenes moments, but now we want you to actually SEE where all of this is going.

The Fire Station. The Market. The Doctor’s Office. The Salon. Mama’s House. The café. Our little city is coming to life.

The renderings give you a pretty good look at what Mini City will feel like when you walk through our doors. Some colors and small details may change, but this is the vision you’ll soon get to experience in real life.

And for everyone asking when we’re opening, we’re currently looking at late November to early December, especially with the construction happening along Grand Avenue.

We’re getting closer.

Yesterday was one of those days you just wish you could bottle up and keep forever. ❤️ So much laughter, so many kids running around having the best time, surrounded by friends, family and amazing neighbors. Celebrating our girls and this new kindergarten chapter with so much love around them was really special. Definitely one of those core memory kind of days. Just grateful to God for the people, the love, the laughter and a beautiful day we’ll always remember.

What a week it’s been. Traveling with the girls, visiting friends and family, and making memories everywhere we went. Atlanta was such a special part of it. Everyone showed up, spent time with us, loved on the girls, and made this trip one we’ll never forget.

Life takes us all in different directions, and we may not see each other as often as we used to, but when we come back together, the love is still the same. This whole week has been filled with so much laughter, love, friendship, and family. My heart is full. by @teedubois_
