My phone broke down on this trip, I didnt really care cos it helped me to be more present & actually have a break 😅 Butttt when I came back, I realised that there was one thing in particular on my phone that wasn't backed up & I needed 😪

One of the most important things in life for me is to bring to life all the ideas God blesses me with & with my phone broken. I was sad that I had lost something very important. I chinned up real quick, tho lol & just prayed for grace for further ideas.

Some days later I took my phone to the shop for repair & when I handed it over they said theres nothing wrong with my phone its fine and handed it back. My phone was really not working before, it would not switch on, no one could reach me, nothing was on the screen & now working as if nothing happened.. I couldn't believe it! I didn't lose what was very important in the end & deffo learnt lessons:

> God is sovereign, He knows all, nothing surprises Him
> Expect the unexpected, but be at peace knowing God is in control
> Be obedient & steward over what God has given you
> Continue to have faith, even greater faith

Mid year dump ft. A lil testimony

~The journey to become a driver has been filled with ups and downs, financial constraints, and unexpected challenges especially with changes to my test date.

~The abundance of support though! Especially from my brothers taking me for lessons! So so grateful!

~Through it all, I learned to trust in the process and surrender my efforts to God.

~His timing was perfect, and everything fell into place when it was meant to.

~Proverbs 16:3 was a huge anchor in the process, keeping me at peace at times of frustration.

~I ended up having the best examiner ever; he was full of chat, telling me life stories, very interested in me as a person, offering guidance and advice, cracking jokes.. I was like God is this real, is this really my driving test, I'm grateful for the waiting!

~My man put 2 minor faults in at the end of the test for fun lol just so he can give me some feedback and that was it! Your girl had passed! All glory to God!

~There was deffo obstacles along the way, but with faith and the support of my loved ones, God helped me to overcome them and achieve my goal.

~I can never forget Proverbs 16:3; beautiful when scripture becomes a reality in your life!

#prayer is such a sweet thing

Being able to communicate with you're maker, father, closest friend

But it can be a struggle & personally sometimes I just don't know what to say

@oilofjoy__ reminded me yesterday that the Holy-Spirit helps us in all things and even helps us to pray... so we prayed for help to pray loool & I just have to share that literally before I went to bed, I recieved so many prayer points that I had to jot down, it became clearer to me what God wants me to be praying about in this season

So writing this post to encourage someone whose struggling with praying or who wants to pray & communicate with God more, just ask Him to help you & He Will

This morning my church was focusing on this verse in our morning devotion

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
I John 5:14 NKJV

& I was just like thank you Lord cos once we ask Him to lead even our prayer points and He does, that's us praying according to His Will and as the scripture says, He hears it!

- Prayer is our open admission that without Christ we're nothing

-Prayer is the turning away of myself to God, with confidence in God

-Prayer is not for my Will to be done but for God's Will to be done on earth

-Prayer exalts God as all-sufficient

What an incredible day!
Officially a Midwifery graduate!

I could not have seen this day without the most amazing friends and family God has blessed me with!

The last 4 years have been a journey but thank God for this milestone🙌🏾 Living the life I prayed for, God remained faithful even when I was faithless,

Officially no longer able to call myself a student 🤣

If you know you know, I have been prolonging this and calling myself a student midwife paaaaaa lol

Glory to God

This small girl is now a whole midwife! I had no idea what God's plans were but I thank God for all the character building trials and difficulties, for perseverance and endurance...

-I was actually rejected from studying midwifery

-I crieddd when my uni rejected me

-But after the tears, I prayed and I didnt leave the uni alone lol thennn the next week I was contacted by them with the opportunity to study midwifery and many testimonies followed that

-One could say this whole thing was an accident but I'd like to call it God's plan and providence - its working even when we don't see it 💫
