It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Thanos. One of the best boys anyone could ask for. He was so smart and strong and always kept us on our toes.

We gave him the best weekend we possibly could and did all the things he ever loved. He saw so many of the people from his past that he truly felt were his pack and best friends. He had the happiest last weekend adventure complete with an In-n-Out trip after the beach.

We will miss him dearly and there will be a Thanos shaped hole in our lives for quite a while.

She said yes!

I am so thrilled that the plan worked out and she was totally surprised! All the animals were so supportive and Tucker was just the perfect assistant to get Rachel into place. Only once did he think about trampling our camera gear and I had to hold him back.

These moments were perfectly captured by @apropos_studios and I cannot thank her enough.

Eros tries really hard to be part of the herd. He doesn’t always know the right way to do that, but he does understand the concept of watching his buddies backs!

I’ve been working on this horse trough fountain for a few weeks now. Wanted to design it and see how to manage some solar power.

This was really fun to build and helping decrease the standing water so there aren’t as many mosquitoes is a huge win also! The horses get filtered water and the atmosphere is very zen. by @tekkie.brian

Finally had the camera out and snapped a few photos of these two!

Thanos has a new little brother - Eros! Eros is at least two years old, and spent 7 months in the local animal shelter. We have a soft spot for the overlooked 🥰

He’s settled in surprisingly well considering how wild he was when we first brought him home just over a month ago! He can now be trusted completely around the chickens, he can be around the cats (but is liable to try to play occasionally, especially since Lyra messes with him constantly), and is seeming to choose wisely around the horses - though we are still supervising him there! He is obsessed with @tekkie.brian and will follow him everywhere. His recall is getting super good from all around the property too!

Because Eros thinks it’s very fun still to chew on Thanos’s neck, I put his old spikey collar on which protects him from a lot of the annoying puppy antics. Thanos likes having Eros around when Eros is behaving like a grownup dog, but gets very tired of him when he’s acting like a puppy. Fortunately he’s starting to be a big boy more often than a puppy! And Thanos has stepped up his correction game and proven to be a great teacher for Eros. And whenever Eros annoys him, we like to think that Loki is laughing from wherever his soul resides 😄💛 by @tekkie.brian
