@womeninmediainc Reel/ Forward Conference 2026 is in its second day, and I’m truly honored to be a part of this event as Chair and as a panel organizer for this wonderful community.

Some shout outs:
1-Thank you to @temastaig for trusting me to be part of the event this year & for giving me special thanks on stage.

2- Cal State LA @calstatela is a wonderful campus, clean and well run. It’s been a joy to be here and to be with the student volunteers so thanks to all of them!

3- Steve Kang, President and Chief Film Liaison of the City of LA, Board of Public Works gave a hopeful talk about easing the process of production and permits in LA.

Katerina Munis is an award-winning writer/director and virtual production specialist. She served as Director of Productions for XR Stages, an immersive LED volume studio that supported virtual production film, television, and new media for HBO, Lionsgate, Apple TV+, and Netflix. Most recently, Katerina’s work has been recognized by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO Studios Foundation, McKnight Media Arts Foundation, the TELLYS, and the Academy Awards Nicholl fellowship.⁠

We went behind the helmets, rigging, and purpose-built suits of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie with legendary costume designer - fabricators Robert Burman and Jennifer McManus.
