Ṣé bí I’ve been saying it repeatedly pé ÓLEKÚ is streaming worldwide? 😂🌍

Well, we decided to take the “worldwide” a little more seriously. This time, not just the sound travelling outside Nigeria… ÓLEKÚ itself entered the abroad! 😇✈️😂

I absolutely love to see how far this song is travelling, one listen, one vibe and one person at a time. 🤎

So wherever you are in the world, go stream ÓLEKÚ now! Don’t just watch us take it abroad,, take it even farther with your streams. Play it, replay it, add it to your playlist, share it with someone and use the sound on your videos.

ÓLEKÚ is out on all streaming platforms. Let’s keep it moving worldwide! 🌍🎶🔥

Five days of deep engagement with music, research, and ideas at the 2nd Organ House International Symposium on African Music, alongside scholars, performers, and students from around the world.

Among the many highlights was the opportunity to hear keynote addresses from two scholars whose work has shaped my own research: Professor Bode Omojola and Professor Kofi Agawu. Their contributions to African music scholarship, particularly in areas of analysis, theory, and cultural interpretation, have been foundational to my studies in African Pianism, and Being in conversation with them was deeply rewarding.

Beyond the formal sessions, the informal conversations and connections made with attendees from across the world were just as valuable.

Grateful for the experience, the exposure, and the community. Looking forward to carrying these insights into my ongoing research.

A rewarding academic experience! 🎶📚

I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in the recently concluded ANIM Conference, themed “Music and Nigeria’s Economy in the 21st Century.”

It was a privilege to present my paper and engage in thought-provoking discussions with scholars, researchers, educators, and music professionals from across Nigeria.

I was also delighted to meet and learn from distinguished scholars, including Prof. Madimabe Geoff Mapaya, Prof. Tolu Owoaje, Prof. Femi Abiodun (ANIM President), and the Head of the Department of Music, Mountain Top University.

The conference was intellectually stimulating, engaging, and truly enriching. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to conversations on the future of music and its role in Nigeria’s development.

More learning. More research. More impact. 🎶🇳🇬
