Temple University Rome and Temple University Boyer College of Music and Dance proudly presented the Temple Jazz Orchestra, directed by Terell Stafford, with special guest Barbara Parisi, in concert at Casa del Jazz on July 30, 2026.

Italy was the first stop of the Orchestra’s European tour, making Rome the perfect place to launch an incredible musical journey across Europe.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of outstanding jazz, collaboration, and cultural exchange.

This Saturday 4/25, The Germantown Jazz Festival presents a full day of Jazz events at the Germantown Settlement Music School featuring an outdoor vendor’s market, Student Master Class by Maestro Aaron Graves (12-3pm), Jazz Student Concerts, and a two-set Jazz Master Concert by Professor Terell Stafford (@terellstafford) and his Quintet at 7pm.

The Germantown Jazz Festival is produced by Khadijah Renee Morgan (@kdjazzdiva).

Temple University of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, directed by Terell Stafford, is the winner of the 2026 National Collegiate Jazz Championship!

Michigan State University of East Lansing, Michigan took second-place honors, and Huston-Tillotson University of Austin, TX,was awarded third place.

“Thank you for joining us, again, for the National Collegiate Jazz Championship. I’m proud of all of you, and it’s a pleasure to be here to congratulate all of you tonight,” said @wyntonmarsalis. “In this competition, it doesn’t matter where you place. What matters are the experiences and the friendships made. We hope you have enjoyed being in The House of Swing. Your feeling and participation make it better. That’s why we built it.”
